NEWS CENTER – On October 18 HSM announced the martyrdom of 17 freedom fighters due to the use of chemical weapons by the invading, fascist Turkish state. It was reported that “It has been determined by us that he used banned bombs and chemical weapons 2467 times during the 6-month war period between 14 April and 14 October 2022. The identity information of our 27 comrades who were martyred in these attacks has been made public in previous statements.”
Our agency has been constantly publishing the videos, reports and information related to the war crimes of the Turkish fascist state and from the perspective of remembering the heroes of this historic resistance, we will be publishing about the 17 martyred guerrillas over the next few days in order to remember their struggles, their conviction with the revolution and Serokatî and denounce such war crimes.

Our comrade Cîger was born in Muş and grew up in a patriotic family devoted to Kurdistani values. Our comrade, who immigrated from the metropolises of Turkey to Istanbul due to financial difficulties, worked in different jobs and helped his family to make ends meet. Our comrade Cîger, who started to recognize the invading Turkish state’s assimilation policies towards Kurdish youth in this period, sought a struggle. In this process, he started to recognize our struggle for freedom, participated in youth work and took his place in the honorable struggle of our people. Our comrade, who found the answers to his questions as he got to know Leader Apo and the PKK, tried with all his energy to raise awareness of the Kurdish youth and to protect them from the dirty policies of the invaders. Our comrade, who leads the awareness-raising activities of our people by visiting the neighborhood, He was made a target by the colonialist Turkish state and was subjected to detention terror many times. Despite all the attacks, our comrade, who did not compromise the line of resistance, was arrested by the invaders and remained in colonial dungeons for 3 years.
Our comrade Cîger, together with his comrades, turned the enemy dungeons into a training ground. In this process, our Party got to know the PKK more deeply and made it known that it is the representative of the victory line that will make our people’s dreams of freedom come true. Our comrade, who got out of prison in 2014, went to Kobanê to join the resistance of our people in Rojava, which is under the threat of genocide by ISIS gangs. Although he was injured in the head and arm during the historical Kobanê Resistance, he did not leave the resistance positions and had a great insistence to fight until the last moment. Our comrade, who has made an unlimited effort to liberate Kobanê by resisting and does not hesitate to pay the price for our people to have a free future, set out to carry out guerrilla activities in the rebellious mountains of Kurdistan, which he always dreamed of after the Kobanê victory.
Our comrade, who defines the moment he met the mountains of Kurdistan as his rebirth, joined the guerrilla life with great enthusiasm. Combining his war experience with the guerrilla tactics of the new era, our comrade moved to the Zap as a competent guerrilla commander and became a soldier of the relentless struggle against the invaders in the difficult Zap geography. Our comrade, who took part in the Bazên Zagrosê Revolutionary Campaign from the first day, has been at the forefront of many actions that dealt heavy blows to the invaders. Our comrade, who has made a great effort in every field of Zap with his endless energy, has become an exemplary commander with his war style, militant stance and laboring personality. He served as a unit commander during the war and played his role with his strong participation and great contribution. Our comrade Cîger, who fought against the invaders by taking part in many battle positions and worked tirelessly for the effective implementation of the expert team fighting style in Zap, left behind an unforgettable legacy of struggle.
