LIEGE – Yesterday evening, Kurdish and international youth were invited to a film evening called Defend Kurdistan in the Kurdish Democratic Society Center in Liege, where a travel report about the internationalist peace delegation to Başur Kurdistan in June 2021 was viewed.
In June 2021, the internationalist peace delegation caused a stir, with internationalists and Kurds from various organizations and areas of society traveling under the name “Defend Kurdistan” to Başur Kurdistan to speak out against the ongoing war on the ground , to strengthen the occupation of Turkey and for peace. The delegation, which visited various organizations and structures in Başur Kurdistan, held talks and discussions and informed not only itself but also the general public about the situation in Başur Kurdistan with their trip, created a documentation about the delegation after their trip.
About 40 people took part in the film evening and then exchanged views on the current situation in Kurdistan.
