BEHDINAN – PKK Central Committee Member Dilzar Dilok stated that the international conspiracy is an invention of a nation-state that aims to continue the policy of genocide under the guise of law, and to ensure the sustainability of capitalist modernity by pitting peoples against each other.
Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan was taken prisoner by the CIA in Nairobi, the capital of Kenya, on February 15, 1999, on the basis of an international conspiracy, with a series of extensive attacks by the forces of capitalist modernity, and handed over to the genocidal-fascist Republic of Turkey (TC). Since then, the Kurds and their friends consider February 15 as a ‘black day’. As the 25th anniversary of the international conspiracy approaches, PKK Central Committee Member Dilzar Dilok answered ANF’s questions.

As we enter February 2023, I respectfully commemorate all the martyrs of “You Can’t Darken Our Sun” in the person of Xalit Oral, Aynur Artan and Selamet Menteş, especially our dear friend, patriot and freedom lover Bûbo (Veysi) Taş, who set his body on fire to end the isolation on Leader Apo in Mardin. . Veysi Taş was a 65-year-old patriot. Like every patriotic Apoist Kurd, he was imprisoned, suffered and tortured. It was subjected to all kinds of attacks by the fascist genocidal Turkish regime. Despite everything, he managed to preserve the free spirit he created with the teachings of Leader Apo by resisting. He showed that he was a folk hero with his action in this period when the society suffered great slaughter under the attacks of the genocidal fascist enemy. The main role in this was that he lived with the struggle for freedom, which he knew moment by moment from a young age. The action of Ferhat Kurtays, he felt it in the depths of his soul and in every cell of his body. He saw his own identity in the resistance of each martyred Kurdish youth. He lived and felt the martyrs and those who resisted moment by moment. By deepening the meaning and feeling in his own personality, he displayed the honorable stance of not breaking away from the truth of the Leader for a single moment throughout his life.
The folk hero Bûbo set himself on fire with his action on January 12, turning himself into a fireball on a cold winter day and reached martyrdom. He showed everyone, friend or foe, what a year 2023 will be for the Kurdish people. In the speech he gave just before his action, all of our people saw the high consciousness, deep feeling of every sentence he said and the beauty, simplicity, dignity and deep sense of the free man created by the honor of joining the caravan of martyrs. The excitement of his action was reflected in every word and sentence. He was strong, obviously resilient. He was determined and made his decision with simple certainty. When he said “don’t cry” to his family, he seemed to herald that this action would be the beginning of the final stage of a bitter struggle that should not be lamented and should be blessed. Again, I bow respectfully to this action. I would like to reiterate that there is no other option but to raise the struggle to be worthy of his memory and to fight with all our might to fulfill the orders of our martyrs. Veysi Taş’s instruction to us is to overthrow the Imrali torture system, where the Leader has been held for 24 years, and to live freely with the Leader.
THOSE RESISTING CAPITALIST MODERNITY ARE TORTURE
Leader Apo has been held captive for 24 years on the island of Imrali, where he was kidnapped on February 15, 1999 by NATO’s Gladio operation. People who were decided to be cut off from society at an absolute level, the differences arising from system conflicts and those whose will was wanted to be broken were put in island prisons in ancient times. Islands are small pieces cut off from the mainland, they are in a position of natural isolation, naturally the feeling that is wanted to be given to the person held hostage on the island is the feeling of being cut off from the whole. The system applied to Leader Apo in Imrali is a deepened and aggravated isolation within this natural isolation. The isolation dimension of the attack on a social leader, who is the will of millions, appeals to hundreds of thousands, educates tens of thousands and develops a dialogue with them one by one, aimed to destroy the sociality reached in the mentality. Today, every Kurd feels himself in Imrali, On the one hand, it is because of the determination that there will be no life without a Leader. On the other hand, it is because the fascist Turkish state aims to put every Kurd and every Apoist in prison in the person of the Leader.
THE FEMALE OF THE TR IS KURDISH ENEMY
There are laws of enmity in Imrali, there is no law. Regardless of its rhetoric against the Kurds, the TR does not show any other approach other than hostility. This issue is more than a current issue. The problem of Kurdish social existence in Turkey is historical. Even though it started in the 11th century when the Turks came to Mesopotamia, the development of the policy of genocide and its emergence at the level of a problem are more valid in terms of recent history covering the last 200 years. Finally, since the establishment of the Turkish Republic, there has been hostility to the Kurds.

Islamic sections of the 60-year period of denial, He has turned, corrupted, refuted, and raised his own mental construction, as if taking away the pain of these years. Just as when the Turkish Republic was founded, all the accumulation and memory up to that time were tried to be destroyed, many social values were destroyed, the intellectuals of the country were either murdered, internalized by the state or fled outside the country, the same is happening today. The closest period to collapse is the period when AKP reached the limits of its own system.
THE INSTITUTION OF GREEN-BLACK FASCISM

Can you tell us what kind of situation-atmosphere was there 24 years ago when the conspiracy took place, that process?
Taking Leader Apo to Imrali is not an arrest or a normal course of action. In order for a person to be arrested, there is a prerequisite for official recognition of his presence in a particular place. It is a requirement of international law to arrest a person whose existence is known and accepted, on the basis of the attributed crime, and to be handed over from the country where he was officially accepted to the country of his citizenship in official records. During the conspiracy process, the international system came into play to prevent the existence of Leader Apo from being accepted and formalized in any country. As we have stated here, the paradigm shift realized by Leader Apo during the İmralı process is to analyze capitalist modernity in all its dimensions, and primarily, to analyze the nation-state gendarmerie and throw it into the wastebasket of history. While the nation states kidnapped the Leader and put him in prison, the Leadership did not turn against one or a few nation-states, but turned to the reason and truth of existence of all nation-states and declared the collapse of the nation-state by analyzing it. The emergence of a democratic, ecological, women’s libertarian paradigm and democratic nation and democratic confederalism is the declaration of the death of the mentality that created İmralı, of capitalist modernity.
LEADERSHIP REVERSE THE TRIAL

Today, the definition of Kurdishness is the most disguised among sovereign nation states and local collaborators. the most two-faced one makes a bad definition of a Kurd. None of them can define a free Kurd. None of these definitions can free the Kurdish women and men, on the contrary, they make them the slaves of the slaves within the circle of genocide, gradually turning them into monstrosities and removing them from being themselves. For the first time, Kurdishness has become a reality accepted, embraced and loved by the peoples of the world. While the revolutionaries from other peoples get to know the Kurds through the Leadership, they also get to know themselves and each other more deeply and experience a great depth of meaning as they reach the truth of being a part of the free humanity of the world. All these are achievements of world humanity. It is the conveyance of the spirit of freedom and meaning to the whole humanity of the world in the heart and tongue of every human being. Leader Apo lives in every language, in every color, in every country. This truth enlarges and glorifies our Leadership, our paradigm and our struggle as much as it enlarges and glorifies these people and the communities to which they belong. BEING FEMALE FREEDOM IS THE MOST IMPORTANT FACTOR
The most important factor in the strong resonance of leadership ideas in the world is that our paradigm is women’s libertarian. The women’s libertarian paradigm created a deep consciousness of existence and freedom in Kurdish women. This is how the Kurdish women raised their awareness and struggle for freedom, led the struggle, and in this sense had the most meetings with the Leader. When Leader Apo was taken into captivity in İmralı, he said “My unfinished project” for the women’s freedom struggle. How does the international conspiracy continue now, how does it update itself; What does he base his ways and methods on?
As individuals, as a people and as a Movement, we are under a torture that has entered its 25th year. WHO CREATED THE SYSTEM, CONTINUES
Since the European Union countries and America were the first to create the Imrali system, the Imrali process still concerns these powers the most. The example of the most recent CPT case, under ordinary legal conditions, would amount to a scandal and would require serious international investigation and exposure of responsibility. The CPT has made statements to mislead the public. He created public expectation by saying that they went to the island, examined the situation and will announce a report in a few months, thus aiming to withdraw and pacify the struggle against isolation. The CPT has sided with policies of isolation, leaving all questions asked vaguely. With this stance, the CPT has come to serve the policies of capitalist modernity and the fascist genocidal regime.
THE CURRENT SITUATION IS MUCH BEYOND THE LAW
Again, the pressure on the Leader and the absolute isolation continue to increase. By spreading some discourses by the AKP-MHP fascist government, our struggle over the Leader and the sensitivity of our people are tried to be made a political issue. We do not have to make legal evaluations based on these examples. Because the current situation is far beyond the law. What is the level of the struggle against the international conspiracy, how should this struggle be developed?

Undoubtedly, history and our people will in no way forgive the KDP’s betrayal and will give the necessary answer. The isolation is also applied on our military areas. ACTIONS ARE SEEN TO INCREASE HIGH RAPIDLY
The struggle against the conspiracy continues, the sensitivity is at a high level, and the demands of the people show this. However, it is clear that the struggle against the conspiracy is not enough to ensure the physical freedom of the Leader. In the military field, under the leadership of Comrades Sara and Rûken, stronger and more effective actions were paved. In addition, it is also known that many groups, from the Children of Fire Initiative to the YPS local units, from the HBDH militia to the young people who are a stand-alone organization, are in action from Kurdistan to Turkey, and that these actions have a significant impact. It is seen from the beginning of the year that these actions will increase rapidly from the beginning of 2023 and will definitely focus on getting results.
DESTROYING FASCISM IS THE ONLY TARGET
The way Martyr Veysi Taş showed us with his action and what he told us is clear. The only goal is to break the will of the AKP-MHP fascist government by bringing the actions and activities to the top, and to destroy fascism by revealing the true face of this government. MORE MASS AND EFFECTIVE ACTIONS
Actions and events also need to be more massive and more effective. So that the actions can complete the blows of the AKP-MHP government in Zap, Metîna and Avaşîn, overthrow fascism with all its backwardness and send this dirty power to the dustbin of history by putting an end to corruption. It takes a spirit of unity, perseverance, a free human being to be able to act like this. Being determined and free also starts with self-education. It is about owning all areas and all dimensions of the struggle. It is possible by liberating yourself, protecting your land, people and country values. It can be possible by representing patriotic values in the most accurate way in every moment and field of life.
THE PEOPLE MUST BE ORGANIZED AND CAREFUL
There is no special war operation left by the enemy to keep our young people inactive. Many attacks, such as increasing drug addiction among Kurdish youth, facilitating their sale, and the harassment and rape of young women and children by special war personnel in the cities of Kurdistan, with the identity of soldier-police etc., aim to break the will of the youth. Because both of these situations break the will of man and make him dependent and alienate him from freedom. For this reason, it is necessary to take strong-effective actions against these special war practices, to create a free will of youth in the youth, to take action and to make the decision to strike the enemy. Expecting the state or state institutions to solve the problem and punish the criminals in such cases means to be the worst victim of these attacks. The enemy is already organizing these attacks, how can he punish those who do this? It is a mistake to expect this. It is not possible to expect honor from the rapist, it is to pave the way for new rapes and to create the ground. Being in this situation means moral regression for a society. Our people should be organized in such situations and take their own precautions and do what is necessary.
DO NOT EXPECT FROM THE GOVERNMENT
Again in our country, anti-nature attacks are carried out against nature, trees, villages, valleys and rivers. Major attacks of capitalist modernity are being made against Kurdish culture in the name of so-called Kurdishness. Art has been made one of the most used tools for the Kurdish genocide, and marginalized elements have been made to serve the Kurdish genocide by marketing themselves to the dominant system and its treacherous collaborators. Against these, effective actions should be taken to defend nature, soil, trees, water, forests, and protect our culture and art. Sometimes, in such cases, attitudes that expect the state and fail to analyze the AKP-MHP reality correctly and adequately have emerged, which will not solve the problem and will contribute to the deepening of the problem. For this, all of our people, especially women and youth, should take steps to live consciously, protect our martyrs, our common values of freedom, our values of struggle, and enlarge the struggle on the basis of raising these values. OPPORTUNITIES MUST BE ASSESSED CORRECTLY

AN INDIVIDUAL WHO’S SOCIETY IS NOT FREE IS NOT FREE
We should know that; Societies whose leadership is not physically free cannot be free. No one should consider himself free while our Leader is in Imrali captivity. Such an approach is wrong, moreover, it is the attack of capitalist modernity-liberalism. It must be understood correctly.
