“Within the framework of the Cenga Xabûrê Martyr War Maraş Revolutionary Campaign, where great heroism took place, heavy blows were dealt to the enemy almost every day in the Resistance Zones. As a result of the effects of our revolutionary move, in which helicopters were shot down, the bodies of enemy soldiers and many military equipment were seized, the enemy had to withdraw from many areas. This revolutionary move, which even the enemy soldiers could not get their heads out of the positions many times, has undoubtedly reached a certain level as a result of the unique efforts of our heroic martyrs. In this revolutionary move, our comrades Nîrvana and Welat, who fought with a mobile team style and dealt heavy blows to the enemy by successfully using the new era guerrilla tactics from sabotage to assassination, from infiltration to heavy weapon actions, reached martyrdom on August 26, 2022.
We extend our condolences to all our patriotic people of Kurdistan, especially to the esteemed families of our comrades Nîrvana, Welat, Munzur, Egîd and Êrîş, who made great efforts in the Kurdistan Freedom Struggle and became exemplary militants by adhering to our Leader, our martyrs and the freedom values of our people until their last breath.

Our Qoser people, who have produced leading cadres since the first years of our Freedom Struggle in Bakure Kurdistan, continue their loyalty to our party PKK with unwavering faith and self-sacrifice. With her patriotic stance during the periods when the enemy attacked the Kurdistan Freedom Struggle most intensely, she embraced our struggle for freedom and set an example for all our people of Kurdistan with hundreds of valiant sons she sent to the guerrilla ranks. Our comrade Nîrvana was born and raised in a patriotic family in such a folk reality. It has grown with the deep-rooted culture that our people have filtered for thousands of years from their family and the environment they live in. For this reason, it has always been committed to freedom and has not accepted the colonial position of our people. Our comrade Nîrvana knew our Party from an early age, sought to fulfill her responsibilities towards our people as a young woman during her youth. She met Kurdish youth, who were patriotic like herself, during her time at university, and was involved in youth work at a certain level in the university environment. However, in 2014, which represents an important period for our people, the attack of ISIS gangs on our people in Shengal and Rojava and the development of massacres prompted our comrade Nîrvana to fight more. The fact that gangs massacred our people, especially Kurdish women, and sold them as slaves in the markets determined the line of struggle of our comrade Nîrvana.
After a short training, our comrade Nîrvana, who went to the fronts where the war was most intense, gave strength to her comrades with his courage and determined stance, and benefited from the experiences of her comrades in the military sense. Our comrade Nîrvana, who was constantly intensifying in order to successfully fight against the gangs, wanted to have more control over the tactics and style of the war. She trained herself with the awareness that success will only come with a war to be waged with the right tactic. Our comrade Nîrvan has improved herself in the field of sabotage, which requires high sensitivity, knowledge, patience and tactical creativity, neutralized hundreds of mines used by the gangs to massacre our people, thus preventing possible massacres against our people with great courage. She has been extremely successful in this work that she carried out with patience and stubbornness and which she always enjoyed doing and tried to fulfill her responsibilities towards our people by carrying out successful actions against the gangs in the Manbij and Tabqa operations in which she took part. Our comrade Nîrvana, who was loved and valued by all her comrades with her sincere companionship, unwavering participation and desire to learn something from each of his comrades, has always strived to be worthy of this respect and love of her comrades. Our comrade Nîrvana, who managed to overcome the difficulties she experienced with a great will, has always made greater breakthroughs. She rushed to the war front without a moment’s hesitation against the enemy’s attack on Afrin in 2018, tried to protect our people by fighting with great effort and sacrifice at every moment of the resistance. After Afrin was occupied and massacres were committed against our people, she promised to avenge these massacres from the invading Turkish state and decided to join the guerrilla ranks where she could do it in the best way possible.
After joining the guerrilla ranks, our comrade Nîrvana primarily aimed to deepen herself in the philosophy of the Leadership and to create the Ideology of Women’s Freedom in her personality. For this, she went through a training process with a group of female comrades. She tried to understand our Leader’s Women’s Freedom Ideology during the education process and to bring it to life successfully. By integrating the noble stance of Mêrdîn women with the Leadership ideology, she started to take her first steps towards being a free woman. After successfully completing his education, our comrade Nîrvana, who has been working in many different fields, shared her military experiences with her comrades and played an important role in making them competent guerrilla. Against the invasion attacks launched by the enemy against Medya Defense Areas, sh wanted to make her anger at the enemy the basis of a successful struggle and insisted on going to the battlefields. She wanted to be with her comrades who were fighting against the enemy in the war tunnels and in the form of mobile teams. Our comrade Nîrvana, who achieved this goal, took part in the mobile teams and turned to the Girê Amediyê Resistance Area, where great heroic epics were written. She carried out many successful actions against the enemy with the mobile teams she was in, tried to lighten the burden of her comrades resisting in the war tunnels and tried to show her loyalty to them with her actions. Our people of Rojhilatê Kurdistan, who gave the strength of resistance to all our people of Kurdistan with their devotion to their freedom and their unceasing resistance for this, and increased the hope of freedom with every martyr they buried, continue to carry the flag of the resistance with their struggle against the invaders today. Our comrade Welat was born in a patriotic family in Kirmanşan, the ancient city of Rojhilatê Kurdistan, whose patriotism caused the wind of freedom to blow across Kurdistan. Since his family saw the freedom of our people and sympathized with our party PKK, he recognized our Party from an early age. Again, the fact that his family joined the guerrilla ranks deeply affected our comrade Welat and he dreamed of the day he would join the guerrilla. Our comrade Welat, who closely followed the resistance that developed in the person of the freedom guerrilla in Kurdistan, was impressed like every honorable Kurdish youth when the guerrilla selflessly resisted the massacres against our people in many areas, especially in Shengal. Believing that he must fulfill his responsibilities towards our people, he decided to join the guerrilla ranks, which he sees as the area where he can fulfill this in the most effective way.
Our comrade Welat, who joined the guerrilla ranks in 2016, has made great improvements in his personality in a short time with the energy of his youth and the clarity of his participation. He has fully involved himself in the struggle and has made every effort to enlarge his struggle at every moment. For this, he has constantly trained and developed himself. As a young guerrilla, he deepened himself militarily in order to have an active struggle against the enemy. In particular, it was based on deepening in the tactics of the new period. He believed that our freedom struggle would be successful with professional guerrilla units, and for this he wanted to reach Democratic Modernity Guerrillaism in the ideological and philosophical sense as well as in the military field. On this basis, he trained and strengthened himself. Our comrade Welat, who embodied the training he received in a short time, is honest, simple, With his mature and modest personality, he won the love of all his comrades and became a comrade to work with. After working in many different fields, he wanted to take part in the resistance against the invasion attacks launched by the colonial Turkish army against Medya Defense Areas.
Realizing this request, our comrade Welat joined the mobile teams and crossed into the Girê Amediyê Resistance Area, one of the areas where the war was most intense. In Girê Amediyê, where the enemy could not break the resistance despite all their techniques and chemical weapons, our comrade Welat dealt effective blows with the actions he carried out together with our comrade Nîrvana. He pioneered actions in which many guerrilla tactics, from assassination to sabotage and infiltration, were used in a creative way. Our comrade Welat, who struck blows to the enemy by infiltrating into the enemy positions when necessary, with the assassination tactic from afar when necessary, succeeded in becoming one of the leading militants of the resistance. His courage, his anger at the enemy and his willingness to turn this anger into action gave morale and strength to his comrades with whom he worked.

Our comrade Munzur was born in a patriotic family in Cizîra Botan, which never compromised its dignified life stance against all the oppression and massacres of the enemy and paid a great price for this cause. Our party naturally recognized the PKK from an early age due to the fact that his family and close circle joined the guerrilla ranks and he lived in one of the centers of our freedom struggle like Cizîr. Since he grew up in Cizîr, where the first serhildan took place against the enemy and was home to leading public militants such as Binevş Egal, he grew up with the valor stories of these folk heroes and always emulated them. Party loyalty, which was more emotionally based in childhood, became aware of the reality of the enemy from the youth period, Our party has evolved into an ideological allegiance because it has brought the PKK’s struggle against this hostile reality to consciousness. In his youth, he entered into a struggle in certain dimensions with many of his friends like himself, and he understood the indispensability of self-defense against the attacks of the enemy against our people. Our comrade Munzur, who was in a different area for a different work during the times when the enemy carried out a massacre against our people in Cizîr, was deeply saddened by not being with his comrades who were resisting the enemy. He has always been under the influence of this situation and has made it the reason to struggle more. The martyrdom of many childhood friends and the massacres against our people in the Self-Government Resistance drew our comrade Munzur into the struggle even more. This structure was reflected in his entire struggle life. For this reason, he was loved and valued by all his comrades. Our comrade Egîd was born in Erxenî, the patriotic district of Amed, in a patriotic and coaching family. Later, when his family settled in a village in Bismil, he grew up there. Our comrade Egîd, who has all the natural and untainted features of coaching in his personality, has started to recognize our struggle for freedom since his early youth, as his family and relatives work in various fields of the freedom struggle of our people and he spent his high school years in the center of Amed. He was especially impressed by the epic resistance of the guerrilla against the occupation, and thought that he too should reach the mountains of Kurdistan and join the guerrilla. Our comrade Egîd, who had the opportunity to see the reality of the enemy more closely while he was studying in Amed, brought to the awareness that this fascist enemy can only be dealt with by waging a struggle. On this basis he was involved in youth work. Comrade Egîd, who has a successful practice in youth work, believed that a more effective and radical struggle should be carried out for our people to reach freedom. He believed that this was the result of joining the guerrilla ranks and joined the guerrilla ranks in 2014.

When another older sister joined the guerrilla ranks in 2006, our comrade Êrîş’s request to join the guerrilla increased even more. However, he could not participate because he was too young.
Comrade Êrîş, who joined the guerrilla ranks from Şemzînan in 2013, received his first training in Xakûrkê. Comrade Êrîş, who is accustomed to mountain life due to the region he lives in, has adapted to guerrilla life in a short time with the training he received.
