The Kurdish Republic of Mahabad, which was founded under the leadership of Qazi Muhammed and his friends, still has great meaning and
value for the people of Kurdistan today. The people of Kurdistan, especially Qazi Muhammed and his friends. It will never forget those who fought and paid the price for the freedom of Kurdistan, including the freedom of Kurdistan and the establishment and defense of the Kurdish Republic of Mahabad, and will always remember them with respect and gratitude.”
In the statement, which noted that the Mahabad Kurdish Republic was attacked and destroyed as a result of the interest-based policies of the hegemonic states, the statement said, “The hegemonic states of the period agreed with the reactionary and colonial Shah regime and supported the destruction of the Mahabad Kurdish Republic. Today, many powers are trying to maintain their relations with the anti-Kurdish genocidal colonialist Turkish state through bargaining over the Kurds. We call on all powers not to take such approaches and not to be a partner in the Kurdish genocide policies of the anti-Kurdish fascist AKP-MHP government.”
