According to the information obtained by our Sinjar correspondent from a security source in the operation, as a result of the operation several spy networks in Sinjar have been arrested and many people have been arrested on suspicion of ‘espionage’.
The source announced that the people who were arrested were involved in the attacks on Sinjar and in the blood of many Yezidi leaders and gave the following information: “It has been a while since both the families of the martyrs and the people of Sinjar have demanded the arrest and detention of the spies and the people involved in the blood of the Yezidis. they buy Our forces also started a long-term investigation at the request of our people of Sinjar and gathered a lot of information about spy networks. After this, the security forces of Sinjar decided on a joint operation and named the operation, “Revenge Operation”. The operation we have done so far has been successful.”
The same source stated that the people who were arrested on suspicion of espionage confessed that they had committed crimes against the Yezidi community and said: “Some of the spies who were arrested by the security forces confessed that they were sent by the Turkish MİT and the KDP. mandate, to collect information about the institutions of Shengal on the Autonomous Administration and the leaders of the Yezidi community and give them to MİT and PDK.
In the continuation of his speech, the source gave another important information and said: “As a result of the investigation with the spies, the attacks against some Yezidi leaders and the Shengal Autonomous Administration have been clarified and important results have been obtained from these investigations.”
