“ABDULLAH OCALAN MUST BE FREED FOR DEMOCRACY AND PEACE”
“The leader of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK), Abdullah Ocalan, has been under severe isolation for the past 24 years. Between 2006-2007, 3.5 million Kurds signed and stated that they see him as their political representative. Öcalan, who is the only leader the Kurdish people trust and who can implement the solution, is a major part of the solution to the Kurdish issue.
Nelson Mandela, Gerry Adams and others, their communities believed in them and that’s why negotiations were done with them. Certainly, Abdullah Ocalan also falls into this category.
Supporting the demands for the freedom of Abdullah Öcalan and other Kurdish prisoners and political prisoners is an important step for the democratization of Turkey and the peace of Kurdistan.
End the pain and pressure on the Kurdish people. Support the peace process that ensures a solution. Allow the Kurdish people to freely make decisions about their future.”
