BEHDINAN – The guerrillas, who are of Arab origin, stated that they joined the ranks of the guerrillas for the freedom of Kurdistan and all of humanity and said: “We will live on Leader Apo’s ideas and philosophy until the end and we will not give up.”
A historic war is being waged in the mountains of Kurdistan to defeat fascism and occupation. In this war, revolutionaries from many nations go to the mountains to fulfill their obligations. Most of all, the people of the ancient Middle East, the Arab nation, should stand up to their historical role in the war. Guerrillas who are originally from the Arab nation, Abu Leyla and Aziz Arab, spoke to ANF about their joining the ranks of the guerrillas.
“I JOINED PKK FOR HUMANITY”
One of the young Arabs, Abu Leyla, stated that his participation was based on the freedom of the country of Kurdistan and for humanity, and said: “We joined the PKK against the attacks against our country. The PKK is for the general public, those who want to fight for their country should join the PKK. We joined the party based on the thoughts and philosophy of Leader Apo and the martyrs.”
“PKK IS FIGHTING FOR ALL PEOPLE’S FREEDOM”
Guerrilla Abu Leyla in his speech drew attention to the PKK’s international character and said: “I call on all nations to unite with the PKK. PKK is not for a nation. PKK fights and fights for the freedom of all nations. I especially appeal to Arab youth to participate in this revolution because this revolution is a revolution for freedom.
I appeal to the Kurdish youth, even though there is an attack on all peoples today, but as a Kurdish nation, everything the Kurdish people have been taken from the Kurdish people, and the most serious war today is on the Kurdish people. These attacking states attack the peoples very ruthlessly and brutally. I call on all young people to join the ranks of freedom and fight against these attacks.”
“THE LEADER IS THE GENERAL LEADER OF THE PEOPLE”
The guerilla named Aziz Arab also announced that they joined the ranks of freedom based on the ideas of Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Ocalan and continued: “Before we joined the party, we did not have much recognition. But after we joined, we realized how wide the borders of the PKK are. After we joined the PKK, we experienced many good things in the life of the PKK that we had not known before in our lives.
Leader Apo’s thoughts and ideas are for the whole universe, religion, nation and people. Leader Apo is not only a Kurdish Leader for the general nation, everyone should take their place in this idea. During the life of the PKK, we became even more deeply in the opinion of Leader Apo and became different. How we were before, how we are now, we understood better.”
Guerrilla Aziz Arab pointed out that guerrilla life and friendship in that life is very different and great and said: “It is a revolutionary life, when you live in the PKK you know you are a revolutionary. As friends of the Arabs, we joined the PKK with a great feeling and desire, and we also became Arab guerrillas.”
UNPARALLELED RESISTANCE: STYLE, STRUCTURE AND METHOD
Aziz Arab Guerrilla talked about the current war and the Arab people’s attitude towards it and said the following: “This resistance is being carried out in Zap, Avashin and Metina, as well as in all parts of Kurdistan, and it has been going on for 9 months. The resistance that is currently being raised in those areas is an unparalleled and great resistance. Such resistance has not been seen and carried out in any army or force.
‘THE LEADERSHIP FEELS US IN THE AREAS OF STRUGGLE AND RESISTANCE’
Aziz Arab Guerrilla emphasized the importance of joining the guerrilla ranks and ended his speech as follows: “As Arab friends, we are few in the mountains, especially women friends are few. I call everyone to go to the mountain areas. The friendship that is lived in these areas today is a very big and sincere friendship. Our leader has spent 24 years inside the four walls. Maybe we don’t have information about him, that is, he doesn’t have information from us. But today the President feels us in the fields of struggle and resistance. I send my greetings to Leader Apo. We will continue on the thought and philosophy that we are living now and until the end. We will never give up and never give up.”
