SINJAR – “Operation Revenge” in Sinjar, like a storm wrapped the spy network of the MIT and its protection among the Yazidis, this joint network of PDK and the Turkish state, received orders from Ankara and prepared from Kurdistan Regional Government cities.
After fleeing Sinjar and leaving the Yezidis in the face of the massacre of ISIS in 2014, the PDK could not return again and the people did not allow them to enter Sinjar Since 2017, bombings, explosions and martyrdoms of Yazidi leaders and self-governing centers have all been carried out through this network.
On May 24, it was revealed to the public that the special units of YBŞ and the security forces of Sinjar launched an operation called “Operation Revenge” against the spy networks of the MIT and the Kurdistan Defense Forces.
Who are the joint network of the MIT and the security forces?
The network consists of two groups, the MIT group consists of three people, named Salma, Baran and Tekin, and the security group consists of two people named Lieutenant Sherko, known as Shero and Salih Sinjar Self-Government and Yazidi Commanders and Leaders.
The first Yazidi to fall into this network is a citizen of Khanasur named Faisal Juno Qasim, also known as Abu Qasim. In 2017, he went to Turkey with his family He was trained by the MIT intelligence agency, then worked for the MIT against the self-government of Sinjar and West Kurdistan and renamed himself Shorsh.
To hunt down the Yazidis into the spy network, Qasim starts a game with the help of the PDK security forces. First, he gives information about his cousin Ahmad Nasraddin Qasim to a PDK security official in Duhok security named Sherko.
In 2018, Ahmad was arrested by the Duhok security forces and his identity card was taken away. He went back to the Duhok security forces to get his identity card , especially on Mam Zaki Shangali, Zoroastrian Shangali, Sozda Avesta and Mazlum Rose. Still in 2018, Ahmad issued a passport to Turkey and received $1,500 from Shero to buy a visa. In Turkey, he met with two MIT members named Baran and Murad.
Another member of the network, Haji Naif Pacho, also known as Sheikh Haji, is from Khanasura and a Yazidi. He was in the Sinjar Resistance Units for a while He is trained and appointed by the MIT. Sheikh Haji called members of YBŞ and the Sinjar Self-Government and asked them to work for the MIT and tried to deceive the Yazidi people with death threats and offers of money.
In 2020, Ahmad recruited Saad Jassim Murad, a member of the Yazidi Khana security forces from Khanasur, and the private driver of Zahra Sulaiman, a member of the Yazidi Women’s Cooperation Network. Through Saadi, his cousin Fazel Jamil Murad and Salah Barjas Sulaiman, a native of Khanasura and a member of the Sinjar public media, join the network.
Since 2017 until the day of the arrest of this spy network, all the attacks, bombings and explosions in Sinjar and the martyrdom of Yazidi commanders and leaders, were ordered by the MIT and the security forces and through them.
