SULAYMANIYAH – A ceremony was held today in memory of martyr Azad Bashuri with the participation of hundreds of patriotic people of South Kurdistan and families of martyrs. The People’s Defense Forces (HPG) Media and Press Center announced the identities of five martyrs, including Commander Azad Bashuri, a resident of Ranya, who was martyred on October 30, 2022 in the Media Defense Areas.
The HPG said that the dream of our comrade Azad Bashur was to meet the Kurdish people and Leader Apo on the territory of free Kurdistan.
Azad Bashuri was born in Ranya, South Kurdistan and grew up in a patriotic family as a Peshmerga boy. Our comrade Azad Bashuri, who grew up in the mountains with his social culture and connection to his country and people, always towards his country and people. He felt responsible and was always angry against the mentality that tried to divide the struggle of the peoples.
