CAN INCREASE ELECTION ATTACKS
In fact, as you know, Turkey entered the election process. They want to boost nationalist and chauvinistic sentiments in Turkey within the framework of the election. For this reason, they are trying to strengthen anti-Kurdish opposition. In this context, there is a possibility that the AKP-MHP state will increase its attacks even more. We should expect such attempts. We have developed this attitude unilaterally, because our philosophy requires it, but let’s know that the enemy we are facing does not have human feelings and wants to use the opportunities, they want to establish their power over the funerals of our people. They want to maintain their power, and for this, they can increase the Turkish state’s attacks on Medya Defense Zones, Southern Kurdistan and even Rojava during the election process. Therefore, everyone should be both sensitive and cautious.
There have been various developments in politics recently. Meral Akşener got up from 6 Tables and then came back. Again, there were two decisions of the Constitutional Court regarding HDP’s closure case and the blocking of Treasury aid. In addition to these, a fascist attack was carried out against Amedspor in Bursa. What are all these signs of?
The elections that will take place on 14 May is an important election for the Kurdish people, as it is for all peoples living in Turkey. It is not only the President who will be elected; system will be selected. The deep powers of the state brought the current system to conduct the war from one hand and to strengthen its coordination. This system is very authoritarian. This has greatly weakened Turkish society. Of course, one side wants to continue this system, but the people want this system to change and there are elections on this basis. In other words, the system will actually be selected.
How long will the current government accept to relinquish this power through elections? This too is doubtful. Obviously, these will resort to a lot of liars. AKP is already known before. This was also seen in the Istanbul elections and there are many other similar practices. They always resort to cheating; They arrange everything for themselves. For example, they changed the Election Law, they made changes in the Supreme Election Board. In other words, the AKP-MHP regime has adjusted everything to win again and does not want to leave power. That’s how they want to act.

In Turkey, this issue is tried to be interpreted, but there is no explanation for this issue, because according to reason, logic and political science, there is no explanation for this event. On the other hand, they want to create an atmosphere of chaos in Turkey. They want to create an enemy by fueling nationalism and chauvinism. Their enemies, of course, are the Kurds, the PKK. In such an environment, they want to gather them around them by inciting chauvinism and provoking nationalist feelings. For example, HDP targets other parties that are members of the Labor and Freedom Alliance too much. They are trying to create a perception as if we as the PKK and they are one. However, it is irrelevant. They are legally organized bodies representing millions of people. Still, they want to gather nationalist sections around them by targeting them. In other words, they will step in from now on with such projects that play on the society.
The beginning of this is the attacks against Amedspor in Bursa. Of course, that didn’t get much results either. Has anything like this been seen? It is a sports match. THE PLAN TO CAGE THE HDP
In terms of the decisions taken regarding the HDP, I can state the following; As far as we have seen, considering the concept on which the AKP-MHP is based and the developing process, it will be seen that both decisions of the Constitutional Court regarding the HDP are not positive. A plan with tactics and pitfalls. It is interesting; According to the election laws, each party must submit its candidate list to the relevant institutions by April 10. The day of the closure case is 11 April. So there is a complete caged situation. They want to say, ‘If it doesn’t suit me, I’ll close it’. If the HDP nominates its own presidential candidate, maybe then we will think about it, as there is an implicit message in the format, it is understood that they are in different accounts. These segments should know that they carry a very historical mission on their shoulders, because among all existing segments and alliances, it is the circle that wants democracy the most and is fighting for democracy in Turkey. Their attitude and decision today will have an important role in Turkey’s future. I believe that these valuable people will make the right decision. At least, this is the expectation and hope of our people. Of course, very remarkable events of this kind are likely to occur in the selection process. We are on the eve of Newroz. What are your hopes and expectations for this Newroz?
First of all, this Newroz is the 50th anniversary of Leader Apo’s debut. In other words, Leader Apo held the first meeting at Ankara/Çubuk Dam on Newroz in 1973, exactly 50 years ago, and set off. This embarkation created many historical developments in Kurdistan and Turkey along with it. A very meaningful march has been going on for 50 years. In these 50 years, there have been great resistances. There were great resistances in terms of humanity, people, democratization, women’s freedom, and social freedom. It can be stated that it is a milestone for our people. Leader Apo welcomed every Newroz after that; He turned Newroz into a day of resistance, a day of increased resistance, unity and struggle. Afterwards, Comrade Mazlum Doğan also developed that historic act on a Newroz day. Newroz, day by day it gained a new meaning in Kurdistan. In fact, its true meaning has been revealed. The meaning of Newroz for the Kurdish society has found its place a little more with this struggle, and today Newroz is welcomed in Kurdistan with a great national spirit.

THERE IS MORNING, NEWROZ MUST BE ACCORDING TO HIM
Newroz has an important meaning for us, for our people and for peoples who believe in this culture. It is not just a day of celebration. Here was the earthquake; many of our people died. For this, democratic Kurdish institutions decided to welcome those who lost their lives in the earthquake and our people who became victims, not with entertainment, but in a way that protects them. GENOCIDE CHAIN BROKEN

Those who are defeated and go into crisis and are completely defeated are the owners of the policy of genocide, they are the enemy. In other words, as seen in this resistance, the Kurdish people cannot be eliminated. The Kurdish people have broken the chain of genocide. The exits, the resistance on the mountain and in the dungeons, the thing that emerged with the August 15 Initiative broke that chain. No matter how much they attack, they will not get results. This has emerged.
NO OTHER WAY TO SOLUTION
There is only one way; it is the solution. It is not the isolation and torture system implemented in Imrali in a way that is unprecedented in the world, but the opening of the doors and taking Leader Apo as an interlocutor. There is no other way. For this, the Kurdish people showed a will. The sons and daughters of this people fought selflessly; they have shown their will for this so that our people can find their representation now. This power of representation was embodied in Leader Apo. In other words, this road has emerged as the only way with this resistance.
NEWROZ SHOULD BE WELCOME LIKE THE CONGRESS OF THE PEOPLE
We are in such a period right now, and for this, our people must show their will much more in Newroz in this period. For this, I call on all our people to participate much more strongly. ‘There was an earthquake; we are already in mourning; It shouldn’t be said ‘we don’t need to go’. No. Newroz is a symbol for us. Therefore, our people, all friends of our people, all democrats and socialists; Again, as the Arab, Turkish and Kurdish peoples, those who fight against AKP and DAESH fascism in the region and support freedom-democracy should attend Newroz more strongly and, as I said, give a message in this Newroz. It should be developed as a congress of peoples in the Middle East. This is how Newroz should be welcomed. Our expectation and hope is that our people will participate more widely with these feelings and develop and strengthen the spirit of unity.
LEFT THE ENEMY LINE
In this important period we are entering, during the Newroz week, I would like to point out the following; Those who have acted as spies on the enemy, sided with the enemy and shed the blood of the Kurdish people’s children with their spying should know that the Turkish state looks at all Kurds with the same eye. According to the AKP-MHP fascist regime, there are no good Kurds or bad Kurds. What? There are Kurds to target; There is also the Kurd, whom he will use and spy on to reach the target Kurd. So true; For them, there are two kinds of Kurds and one of them must be destroyed and the other must be spy. This state is only approaching the Kurds with this chauvinistic mentality. Everyone should see this. History will judge them, as they will regret it tomorrow. The resistance against these genocidal attacks is meaningful, deep and historical in every respect. It is not ordinary. If someone who does not see this is still on the side of the enemy, there is no worse situation than this. My call to the Kurds who are in this situation is to leave this situation.
LAUSANNE PROMOTES GENOCIDE OF THE Kurds
In this Newroz in the 100th anniversary of Lausanne, the Kurdish people must make a new start. This is needed. What was Lausanne for the Kurds? It was a massacre; it was a great tragedy; it was a dungeon; it was genocide; It was Halabja; It was Anfal; it was an earthquake. In other words, a persecution was committed against our people. Despite the fact that the Kurdish people are the most ancient people in this region, Mesopotamia, have riches and have a history, the decision to commit genocide was made in Lausanne. TRUE; Someone who signed the Lausanne Treaty may say, ‘We did not sign the genocide’, but you ignored it. Lausanne ignored the Kurdish people. What does it mean if you give a state to every people and determine their status, while ignoring the Kurds and giving nothing? This means to the surrounding states, ‘go, eliminate them, genocide them’. In other words, Lausanne is the implicit genocide of the Kurdish people. Now, our people have been fighting against it for a hundred years. Hundreds of thousands of martyrs were given. The Turkish state also wants to achieve its own goals in its 100th year, and even to reach the National Pact without being satisfied with it. We, as a people, should not welcome the 100th anniversary of Lausanne in all four parts of Kurdistan without reaction. We must face it with a national, democratic and libertarian reaction. TALABANI’S CALL IS MEANINGFUL
In this context, the last KNK Co-Chair, Mr. Ahmet Karamus, came to Southern Kurdistan and held various meetings. We find this work very meaningful. We see this call as very meaningful, and the most indispensable thing in this period is the national unity of the people of Kurdistan. We, as the Movement, are trying to do this from our own perspective. On this basis, I call on Newroz 2023 to be the beginning of national unity. We must establish national unity. If someone doesn’t come, don’t come. We shouldn’t limit ourselves for anyone, and we shouldn’t say ‘it wouldn’t happen if such and such a person didn’t come’. No; we are in Kurdistani line, on the basis of patriotism, We must establish absolute national unity as those who have an attitude against colonialism and genocide. We must ensure national unity, both at the component level and across the country as a whole. My call to all Kurdistani parties, patriotic institutions, intellectuals and artists is to develop an attitude of national unity and to engage in national unity efforts. To welcome everyone with a stance of national unity to this historical period, in which we entered the 100th anniversary of the Treaty of Lausanne; to show the whole world that we exist as Kurds, that we are one; I invite you to give the message that our march is a just-democratic march of humanity, that no one can stop this march and that we will succeed in this march.
