Patriotic Youth celebrated Leader Apo’s birthday in the Tuspa district of Wan and the Nisêbin and Artuklu districts of Mêrdîn. After writing in Wan Tushpa, the young people prepared a cake with Leader Apo’s picture and celebrated April 4th.
While young people celebrated with fireworks in the Nisêbîn district of Mêrdîn, they celebrated Leader Apo’s birthday by planting saplings and detonating fireworks in the Artuklu district.
Patriotic Youth celebrated Leader Apo’s birthday in Istanbul and Mersin.
Patriotic Youth held a march in Mersin Yenipazar this evening and celebrated Leader Apo’s birthday by setting off fireworks.
Celebrating Leader Apo’s birthday in Adana Gülbahçe District, the Patriotic Youth lit torches and marched, chanting “Hello, Greetings, Thousand Greetings to İmralı”.
Metropol Falcons celebrated Leader Apo’s birthday in Amed, Nisêbîn, Şırnex, Sêrt and many other cities.

“Happy April 4, Leader Apo’s 73rd birthday, especially to our Leader, the Kurdish people, Kurdish women and youth, and all humanity. April 4 is the day when the Kurdish people are given the good news of rebirth and re-existence, the day when a free life was created and the Kurdish woman regained her own truth.
The birth of Leader Apo has a great truth and meaning in the history of the Kurdish people and Kurdish women. Because the Kurdish people see the birth of Leader Apo as their birth. It treats the slaver as the day when life and identitylessness come to an end. The birth of the leadership marked the beginning of the social, cultural, scientific, philosophical and historical definition in Kurdistan. This beginning turned into a renaissance of the Kurdish people, the Middle East and libertarian humanity with the Leader’s march for freedom.
When Leader Apo departed, the existence of the Kurdish people was on the verge of extinction. Invasive and genocidal politics in Kurdistan became dominant and dangerous. The states that invaded Kurdistan, especially the Turkish state, did not consider the Kurdish people as human and society. The freedom struggle that started under the leadership of Leader Apo has broken these rules and dealt a great blow to the mentality of the occupying and genocidal states. The Kurdish people have planted the seeds of hope, faith and a free life in the brains and hearts of their women and youth. When Leader Apo was only 7 years old, he waged a great war against sexism and social reaction.”

Under the leadership of Yekîtiya Jinên Ciwan, a celebration event was held for the birthday of Leader APO.
With the “Jin Jiyan Azadî, Serbixe Azadî” campaign, Leader APO’s 74th birthday was celebrated today at 20:00 under the leadership of Qamişlo Yekîtiya Jinên Ciwan. The celebration, attended by hundreds of Qamishlo residents and non-governmental organizations, was held in front of the Youth Center.
Before the celebration began, a minute’s silence was held for the martyrs. In the speech made afterwards, Leader APO’s birthday was celebrated and he said, “The birthday of the Leader is the birthday of women. We promise that we will follow the path of our leadership to the end.” it said. Then the slogans “Rojbûna te Pîroz Be Ey Serok” and “Bijî Serok Apo” were chanted.
Songs were sung and dances were performed at the celebration.
Today, saplings have been planted in the city of Hesekê in Rojavayê Kurdistan under the leadership of the MSD (Meclîsa Syria Demokratîk) youth. Dozens of saplings were planted in the parliament today on the occasion of Leader Apo’s birthday in Suriya Democratic Youth and Partiya Kesk ya Kurdistan.
Partiya Kesk ya Kurdistan Member Şirin Davut Abbas spoke to our agency and stated that they distributed saplings throughout Bakur and Rojhilatê Syria. Abbas then stated that they celebrated April 4th to everyone, especially Leader Apo.
MSD Youth member Şoreş Şengalî also referred to the importance of April 4 for the Kurdish people and stated that the birth of Leader Apo was the birth of freedom for all oppressed peoples.
Şengalî continued as follows; “Today, as MSD youth, we came together to celebrate April 4th. We celebrate this day to all our friends and martyrs. We are also celebrating the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the YPJ. We state that we will follow in the footsteps of martyrs.”
ROJHILAT – LEST KURDISTAN
The birth of the leader is a new beginning and a new development in the pages of human history. It is a new birth of the struggle for women’s freedom, the hope of freedom and victory for the Kurdish people and all oppressed nations. Of course, the model and line of women’s freedom is the essence of this project. The system of democratic modernity and women’s confederation is the way of life. The birth of Leader Apo carries historical significance for women, youth and all Kurdish people and oppressed nations.
Therefore, every year on this holy day, people celebrate the birthday of Leader Apo by planting trees, bushes and blueberries. Mothers in white dresses in Mahabad planted trees on the occasion of Leader Apo’s birthday and appealed to all nations on this occasion.
