QAMIŞLO- The Syrian Revolutionary Youth Movement and the Young Women’s Union of the Cizîr region held their annual meeting with the participation of 600 delegates at the Mihemed Şêxo Culture and Art Center in Qamişlo with the slogan “Renew yourself and win the war of freedom with the spirit of Apoyi”.
In the meeting, the movement evaluated and discussed its work and activities for the year 2022.
To conduct the meeting, a court was formed, where the general coordinator of the Revolutionary Youth Movement of Northern and Eastern Syria, Tolhildan Zardesht, the member of the leadership of the Revolutionary Youth Movement of Haseke, Midye Abdurehman, the member of the leadership of the Revolutionary Youth Movement of Qamishlo, Şerhat Ahmed, took part in it.
In the meeting, the member of the Young Women’s Union of the Cizîre Region, Leyla Hisên, read the perspectives of Leader Abdullah Ocalan regarding the youth. Then the annual report of the movement was read.
In the meeting, the tensions in the Middle East, the conspiracies of the capitalist states against the national democratic project and the conflict between the capitalist regime and democratic modernity were discussed. In the discussions and evaluations, it was pointed out the attacks of the occupying Turkish state against the region, its brutal policies against the culture of the region and the methods of resistance against these attacks.
Also, the participants indicated that the year 2023 should be the year of realizing Leader Apo’s physical freedom and living a dignified life.
The meeting ended with a conclusion:
- Expanding the field of organizing the Revolutionary Youth Movement;
- Carrying out activities to realize the physical freedom of Leader Apo;
- Conducting and organizing activities on the basis of the revolutionary people’s war until success is achieved within the framework of this strategy;
- Against the capitalist modernity, the development of the culture of revolutionary life through the holding of training courses;
- Conducting awareness campaigns against special war policies (drug use, violence and espionage);
- To make agreements with revolutionary organizations against the capitalist and oppressive regime in order to stop the attacks of the occupying Turkish state;
- To protect and expand the values of the revolution with the slogan “Protect your home, love and country” development of youth based on nature protection;
