BEHDİNAN – Freedom guerrillas made evaluations at our agency on the anniversary of Martyr Zilan’s (Zeynep Kınacı) who carried out an action against the plot to be developed against Leader Apo on June 30, 1996 in Dersim. Gerila Nuda Mawa and Hogir Nûhat touched upon the message that martyr Zilan gave to the youth and young women through his action, and called on everyone to take their place in the ranks of freedom.
Komalên Jinên Ciwan Member Nuda Mawa made evaluations to our agency and drew attention to the meaning of the sacrifice of Martyr Zilan and stated that women can pay any price for freedom.
Of course, talking about Zilan friend and promoting his life requires great willpower and strength for people. That’s why being great revolutionaries and being a follower of heval Zilan is one of our most important duties. We are in June. All costs were paid in this month, great martyrdoms took place in this month. This month has been a breathing month for us. The martyrs who emerged and their leadership paved the way for victory for us. That’s why I commemorate all the martyrs of our freedom movement in the person of the martyrs of June.
We are on the 27th anniversary of Martyr Zîlan’s martyrdom. As it is known, Heval Zilan was a breath of fresh air for us with his action against the conspiracy that was intended to be developed on Leader Apo. That’s why it takes great excitement to talk about heval Zilan and to share heval Zilan. Therefore, it is a great debt for us to follow him and be a comrade to friend Zilan. Zilan friend expresses this in his letter because he loves life and humanity very much. “I am taking this action because I love life and humanity so much.” That’s why, as Kurdistan Freedom Guerrillas, we will make our word even stronger by pursuing that permission and value in order to make life meaningful and to make life even stronger. Comrade Zilan is calling out to all peoples of the world, to all patriots. In this way, he expresses that he wants to make his voice heard all over the world. He also shows the status of Kurdish women, the status of free women, the status of revolutionary women with his great actions. For this reason, it shows that the occupation of the whole world should not be tolerated any longer. He says keep your eyes open, give a great fight against the occupation. That’s why she especially focuses on female identity.
“We will stay on our word by following the footsteps of Comrade Zilan”
For us, every word of Zilan friend is a manifesto and perspective. In particular, it evaluates women and highlights Kurdish women, and shows that women who are under occupation, whose homeland has been taken away, are more oppressed and deepened. That’s why all women are urging to take a tougher stance against him. This can be seen even today. The invading enemy is more afraid of the strong woman and carries out her attacks against the strong woman. For this reason, people must fight harder and develop themselves further along the line of Zilan in order to suppress the occupation, strengthen their struggle and raise the status of free women. For this reason, Kurdistan Freedom Guerrillas is our word, we will stick to our word by following the footsteps of Comrade Zilan. It is also evident from the fact that great revolutionaries express their thoughts and will with their words.
For example, Kemal Pir has a saying, “We love life so much that we die for it”. Indeed, people see. They gave their lives for a free life, for a free humanity, for a full life. Therefore, the action of friends is more valuable. When the meaning of the friends’ actions is understood, it is noticed that there is a very strong emotion in heval Zilan’s action. This fact may surprise him if he is not familiar with Leader Apo’s philosophy and ideology. If you love life, why do you choose death over life? he may say. This is the difference in Leader Apo’s philosophy. This shows that Leader Apo liberated women even more. A woman can pay any price for freedom. He can put himself at risk at any cost. Therefore, being a follower of those martyrs and being a follower of Zilan is valuable.
Young women should take a stance against massacre policies
Our call to all young women with the slogan “Jin Jiyan Azadi Serbixe Azadi” is to defeat the invaders. The invaders are turning more towards women. Therefore, a strong woman can respond to this even more. The stronger a woman is, the more the enemy is defeated. Therefore, even if the enemy wants to kill young women with their dirty policies, young women should take a stand against it. For this reason, we invite all young women to walk in the footsteps of Zilan, in the footsteps of Kemal, to get to know our freedom movement better, and to join our freedom movement.
Komalên Ciwan Member Hogir Nûhat made evaluations to our agency on the anniversary of the martyrdom of Martyr Zilan (Zeynep Kınacı). In his evaluations, Nûhat stated that Martyr Zilan’s action was an instruction for the youth.
Nûhat included the following in his evaluations;
We commemorate all the heroes who were martyred in June and bow before them. We salute the friends who are fighting against the enemy in battle positions and tunnels and inflicting great blows.
In 1996, fascist conspiratorial states despicably tried to conspiracy against our Leader. They wanted to darken the sun of the Kurdish people, of all peoples and societies that want freedom in the person of our Leader.
Commander Zilan thwarted this conspiracy with his action on 30 June. The fascist state and its conspiratorial allies shuddered and backed away. The action of your friend Zilan was an instruction for us, the militants of Leader Apo and the fighters of the martyr Zilan, a command for all young people. It was an instruction for Kurdish youth, Assyrian youth, Turkmen youth, Arab and Christian youth, and for all young people resisting the occupation in the Middle East. The great success of Zilan’s friend is also evident from the big blow he inflicted on the fascist state on 30 June.
Again, all young people who want freedom;
Leader Apo said “We started young, we will succeed young”. And we say with the spirit of June 30, “We started with Leader Apo and we will succeed with Leader Apo”. In the spirit of the war waged in the tunnels of Zap, Avaşin and Metina in the whole war of existence and non-existence, our biggest call is the action of Heval Zilan. Heval Zilan’s action is a command for us. The spirit of youth is the instruction of sacrifice. That’s why the biggest call is to return to the mountains, to return to actions, to return to war.
Let’s wage a unique struggle to defeat the fascist Turkish state, for the Kurdish people to achieve freedom, for all peoples living in the Middle East to achieve freedom, to live a free life and to breathe freely, and for Leader Apo’s freedom. We will not be liberated until Leader Apo is liberated.
In order to physically liberate our Leader, let’s follow the instructions of our friend Zilan with the spirit of June 30th. Let’s renew ourselves again in the spirit of Leader Apo.
