NEWS CENTER – The Jinên Tolhilder Initiative has issued a written statement announcing its actions carried out over the past few days in different places and on different dates, stating:
“As women, knowing that Rêber APO faced all forms of oppression and isolation during the 24 years of his captivity, we cannot sit in our homes where the enemy sees us as gentle, tender, man-needy, passive, or as one sex, that one must own and tries to position ourselves with these discourses and remain silent on these despicable practices.
We are the children of millions of Kurds who have not forgotten their essence, their selves and their reality, despite hundreds of thousands of inhuman practices committed in captivity and persecution for so many years. While the Chairman’s imprisonment makes us so angry that we cannot even endure it, the fascist Turkish state imposes unimaginable isolation measures on our Chairman.
We will continue on this path without even breathing until the isolation against Rêber APO ends. We salute all our comrades who, yearning for Rêber APO, embrace his ideology, who pay the price along the way, who do not give up the struggle for a moment, and we invite our friends who share this anger deep within feel it in their hearts and remain inactive, to be comrades and to fight together. First we will liberate the chairman and then the entire society of Kurdistan. We will achieve this together with the hands of women.”
The initiative made the following statements about the actions carried out:
“13.06 In Denizli-Pamukkale district, a bus of the fascist AKP community was set on fire by our units.
15.06 In Istanbul Şile, 2 minibuses belonging to AKP-MHP members were set on fire by our units and rendered unusable.
15.06. In Antalya-Kumluca, 1 market and 1 hardware store owned by AKP’s Murat Kaya were hit and disabled by our units with improvised explosive devices.”
