BEHDINAN – The invasion attacks launched by the Turkish state against Medya Defense Areas continue. In the Zap, Çemço and Sîda regions, the Turkish state is attacking the guerrilla areas with all its might and using all kinds of techniques. Martyr Felat Hîwa Sine was one of the guerrillas who responded to these attacks with great resistance. HPG fighter Felat Hîwa Sine evaluated the Turkish state’s attacks and guerrilla resistance in an interview he gave to ANF before his martyrdom.
Saying that the Turkish state was helpless against the guerrilla resistance despite all its means, HPG member Hîwa Sine used the following statements in an interview she gave before she was martyred: “War and resistance are a dagger to the heart of the enemy. The war that took place severely strained the Turkish state both in the field and in the positions. We also struggled with a self-sacrificing spirit to help our friends who were resisting in the positions. In this operation, the truth of the enemy was clearly revealed. All kinds of attacks were made on our friends. But they could not break our will. It was time to put our promise to our party and Rêber Apo into practice. We were in the field to protect Girê Werxelê. We have witnessed hundreds of war crimes, committed before our eyes. The soldiers who took part in the invasion operation of Kurdistan lands were supposedly the best soldiers of the Turkish state, but they could not fight against the resistance of the Apoists. At the slightest sound, they abandoned their positions and fled. This is the reality of the Turkish state.
When the enemy saw that he could not get any results, he wanted to expand the invasion even more. On September 15, enemy cobras came to the tunnels of Martyr Felat with war and reconnaissance planes. At the same time, the soldiers attacked the area of martyr Fedakar and martyr Agir, their aim was to prevent the intervention of friends. However, the mobile teams in the camps and the friends in the positions intervened professionally and did not allow the soldiers to easily enter the war tunnels. When the soldiers attacked, the friends responded with a self-sacrificing spirit, and the enemy suffered many casualties. The Turkish state left its dead and wounded and retreated. They bombarded the area again in order to come to Sîda, but they still could not get results.
The soldiers’ bodies lay on the ground for days and were eventually cremated under the watchful eye of their friends. He used different chemical weapons intensively in enemy attacks. We have also taken our measures against these attacks. The Turkish state and the whole world know that the use of chemical weapons is a war crime. Despite all this, a NATO member state cannot fight against a guerrilla. We always fight with a self-sacrificing spirit in the PKK. No matter what, the guerrilla is always based on success and does not allow Kurdistan to be invaded.”
