NEWS CENTER – At a time when the isolation of Rêber Apo is being intensified and genocidal attacks are being carried out on the local people, a group of young people from Western Kurdistan went to the mountains of Kurdistan to join the Guerrilla caravan. On the 28th anniversary of martyr Zilan’s martyrdom, these young people emphasized that the path to liberation is through guerrilla warfare.
The statement of the young people who participated is as follows:
The system of torture and isolation has been going on for 25 years without a break. For 27 months, no information has been received from the Leader of APO. Conspiracy and fascist forces want to destroy our party and our people through isolation. The fascist and conspiratorial Turkish state is brutally attacking us. Not a day goes by that we don’t pay martyrs and sacrifices. The mountains of Kurdistan struggle and resist as a fortress of resistance. It has proven that the will of free people is stronger than all techniques. Kurdistan’s freedom fighters have been waging a fierce war for three years without a break. Death blows to Erdogan’s throne. This became hope, morale and enthusiasm for all freedom-loving people. This spirit of resistance, the spirit of Imrali, has spread throughout Kurdistan.
The Ottoman state wants to continue the invasion and division of Kurdistan once again in the century of Lausanne. That is why we see daily attacks on our land. They want to oppress us by killing, arresting, assaulting and starving. Every day children of Kurdistan are killed, young women are kidnapped and assaulted on a daily basis. The revolution of Rojava Kurdistan continues its struggle in its 11th year. The people of Rojava persistently manage themselves despite the hardships and difficulties by uniting the components of the region in order to build a common and communal life and have ensured the national democratic system.
Every day, our regions are facing the attacks of the Turkish state. Especially women and young people are always their targets. A few days ago, Rîhan’s friend, Yusra and Farhad were brutally targeted. Our friends reached the level of martyrdom. Each of them has contributed a lot to the revolution and freedom. Especially Rîhan’s friend has struggled and worked hard in all parts of Kurdistan for more than 28 years without a break.
In this process, Komalên Ciwan and Komalên Jinên Ciwan changed the slogan “WIN THE FREEDOM WAR” and changed it to “WIN THE FREEDOM WAR”. We will not only go to the mountains of Kurdistan, but we will win this war and give death blows to the heart of Erdogan’s fascism.
We will avenge Kurdistan’s children, women and youth from our enemy. The 28th anniversary of Commander Zilan’s self-sacrificing act is a manifesto of life for us, we will always be on their trail and spread the spirit of self-sacrifice everywhere.
We will not accept a comfortable life until our leadership is freed from the Imrali system and Kurdistan is not free. We will make everywhere a battleground and resistance. We will fight with all our strength and become like Zilan, Sara and Rukenan in the heart of the enemy. Here we call all the youth of Kurdistan, let’s fight together against the cruel enemy and throw them from our land to the dustbin of history.
Let’s stand together against occupation and fascism.
Let’s avenge the martyrs together and don’t leave their weapons on the ground.
Let’s take the place of Rîhan, Helbest, Baz, Harûn, Qasim, Leyla, Hilmet and dozens of valuable friends and avenge them.
Let’s live a real youth together.
