With the Revolution in North and East Syria, the women who live on this land poured into the ranks of freedom like a flood and gathered around the paradigm of a democratic, ecological and women’s freedom society. Courageous women organized themselves under the name Women’s Defense Units.
The fire of the Revolution, which removed the darkness of the era, illuminated the map of the freedom of societies with the leadership from women fighters. In the name of YPJ, a relentless struggle for freedom is being waged. The struggle against the perception of the ruling man as the new life of all the leaders is getting brighter every day. Of course, at the end of this case, many of our dear comrades sacrifice their lives. Our comrades Hesina Musa Mihemmed (Avaşin Cûdi), Hiba Abdulqadir Bekir (Hiba Hesekê), Bêrivan Abdil Khalef (Bêrîvan Hesekê) and Emine Nebo Silêman (Dilar Kobanê) also gave an incomparable effort for the freedom of their people.
Our comrade Avaşin Hesekê (Hesina Musa Mihemmed) grew up in a family with values of freedom. This concrete reality of the family was the reason for our comrade Avaşin to take part in the beginning of her defense units called YXK. At the same time, she became one of the early members of the YPJ. The first member of the YPJ in the city of Haseke was Avaşin. Comrade Avaşin is one of those comrades who fought heroically in all the liberation steps and gave unparalleled efforts in the liberation of every paradise of North Eastern Syria. She fought bravely against the darkness of ISIS in Hesekê, Til Temir and Derazor on all the fronts of the war without even thinking about it for a moment. Comrade Avaşin became an expression of the loyal and promising attitude of the country in the ranks of YPJ.
Our comrade Hiba Hasekeh (Hiba Abdulqadir Bekir) was responsible for all organizational work with great passion. Hiba’s family raised their children on the culture of patriotism, so Hiba’s brother joined the ranks of freedom with that knowledge. Connecting with the martyrs in the same way brought Hiba’s friend to the ranks of freedom. Comrade Hiba always raised the passion of the revolution in his heart with the spirit of friendship in the ranks of freedom.
Comrade Berivan Hesekê (Bérivan Abdil Khalef) also grew up in a patriotic family and especially after the martyrdom of her brother, she joined the ranks of freedom struggle. Comrade Berivan became a source of enthusiasm for her colleagues with her flowing energy. At the same time, she was known for her hard work among her peers. Comrade Berivan’s attachment to the martyrs showed itself in her loyal attitude at every moment of her life.
Comrade Dilar Kobanê (Emine Nebo Silêman) kind and loyal attitude was meaningful with the feeling of the country. Because of that, she fought for freedom with great passion. Comrade Dilar grew up with the culture of patriotism and after her sister joins the ranks of the freedom struggle, she became a traveler following the cause of the country’s freedom. In the ranks of freedom, she was known as a rebel, resistant and honest, with this stance he became a brave and loyal fighter for the cause of people’s freedom.
Our comrades Hesina Musa Mihemmed (Avaşin Cûdi), Hîba Abdulqadir Bekir (Hîba Hesekê), Bêrîvan Abdil Khalef (Bêrîvan Hesêkê) and Emine Nebo Silêman (Dilar Kobanê) stood up for the values of freedom with a high and selfless spirit and joined the ranks of the revolution. They stood up bravely with all the duties of the revolution.
On July 27, our comrades Avaşin Hesekê (Hesina Musa Mihemmed), Hîba Hesekê (Hîba Abdulqadir Bekir), Bêrîvan Hesekê (Bêrîvan Abdil Khalef) and Dilar Kobanê (Emine Nebo Silêman) were martyred in an accident while on duty. First of all, we would like to express our condolences to the families of our comrades and all our patriotic people.
As YPJ, we will continue our struggle until the end to fulfill the dreams of our martyred comrades. Our connection and commitment to the martyrs is meaningful every day by raising the struggle.
