BEHDİNAN- Eylem Mazlum (Evindar Kavak) was born in Mêrdîn to a patriotic, loyal family. The fact that her family is patriotic and his uncle’s martyrdom has a great impact on her. When she sees the guerrillas for the first time, she was very impressed by their stance and speech. When she learns that the reason for this stance and depth is Leader Apo’s ideology and philosophy, she starts reading Leader Apo’s books with great excitement. The more she reads Leader Apo, the more his sympathy for the PKK increases. And as a result of this concentration, she becomes an effective youth pioneer by participating in youth work. Believing that the legal field cannot give the answer he wants, he goes into more radical searches. Thinking that he found her answer with the war that started in Rojava, he rushes to the battle positions to become the freedom fighter of his people.
But still her biggest dream is to be a guerrilla. She reached the mountains with great excitement and desire to become a guerrilla. The most basic principle that attracts her attention in mountain life is ties of comradeship. Martyr Eylem Mazlum says in one of her evaluations: “The sensitivity of my friends towards each other and to life impressed me a lot. I felt a great sense of admiration when I saw the way your friends talked to each other.”

In her assessment of the zap field, she gives the following words: “During my stay in the zap field, I met many valuable friends. I had great practical experience. The military, practicing in the Zap fields as a woman I gained great experience in war and willpower. My self-confidence is plus. In addition to practical experiences, I also had life experience; I gained spirituality. They say that the Zagros are the place of the goddesses, so I have always developed a spiritual attachment to the Zagros areas.”
Martyr Eylem was in favor of integrating practice with theory. Like every Apoist militant, she was always eager for education, which means the unity of thought-dhikr-action. She expressed his views and feelings during her education as follows: “I consider myself very lucky to have come to education. With the education I received, I became aware of my own identity, will and existence. Wherever I go after this training, I will participate in life with the strength and morale I receive and be an answer to my Leadership. I will expand my struggle and create innovations. This struggle will not be only in military dimension, I will also respond to all kinds of attacks of the enemy in terms of ideology and thought. With this training, I witnessed the will of women and the energy and transformation potential that emerges from the unity of women; By believing in this power, I will walk stronger.”
After training, she made her way to Kato Jîrka in Botan. Kato Jîrka Mountains opened her arms to the commander of the sacrifice and immediately embraced her. She spearheaded many actions. She fought tirelessly to become a comrade, a commander, worthy of his comrades.
