“Our comrade Argeş Koçer, who was on duty in the Botan area on June 17, 2023, was martyred while trying to cross the Tigris river by being caught in the current. Our comrade Argeş, one of the leading militants of Botan with his dedication and hard work; With his participation and sincere comradeship, he became a militant that all his comrades took as an example.
We extend our condolences to all our patriotic people of Kurdistan, especially to the valuable family of our comrade Argeş, who succeeded in integrating the Apoist freedom philosophy with its unspoiled clean essence.

Our people of Êlih, who know our freedom struggle from the symbols of Amed Dungeon Resistance and from our comrade Mazlum Doğan, one of the leading cadres of our party PKK, revealed the reality of the pioneering people by joining thousands of their most valuable children to the freedom struggle, especially our legendary commander Egîd (Mahsum Korkmaz). Our Êlih people, who fought to protect their honor in the 1990s, when the enemy’s oppression and massacres were intense and the Hizbul-contra massacred our patriotic people in the middle of the street, gave the necessary answer to the enemy and its collaborators with the serhildans they developed. Our people of Êlih, who led the massification of our Party with the serhildans they developed, under all circumstances took care of Rêber Apo and our martyrs and led the social revolution in Bakure Kurdistan.
Our comrade Argeş, who was born into a Koçer family, is the son of such a patriotic people who invest their existence in freedom; He grew up with the pure, clean, natural culture of coaching and the deep patriotic awareness of our people. For this reason, as it grew, it became more integrated with the core values of our people, and became more attached to our freedom struggle, which was carried out with great devotion and heavy costs. As an honorable Kurdish youth, our comrade Argeş, who feels the pressure and attacks of the enemy and the genocidal practices deeply, has never accepted this situation because he lives in Kurdistan. He always thought that it was necessary to fight against the enemy, so he went in search of it. The revolutionary atmosphere created by the Rojava Freedom Revolution, which became flesh and bone in 2012, deeply affected our comrade Argeş as well as all our people. Seeing it as a great chance for him to witness the decades-old struggle of our people bear fruit, our comrade Argeş thought that as a Kurdish youth, he should fulfill his duties and responsibilities towards our people and decided to join the struggle. Of course, like tens of thousands of Kurdish youth, our comrade Argeş turned to the free mountains of Kurdistan and joined the guerrilla ranks from the Botan field in 2014.
Making good use of the advantage of joining the guerrilla ranks in Bakurê Kurdistan, our comrade Argeş quickly became a competent guerrilla by benefiting from the knowledge and experience of his experienced comrades on guerrilla and mountain life. Our comrade, who had the opportunity to instantly practice the training he received, started to lead his comrades with his enterprising, creative and honest participation. Our comrade, who considers it essential for him to specialize in guerrilla warfare, took assassination training in the Gabar field and stepped into professional guerrillaism. Comrade Argeş, who participated in many actions in the Gabar area between 2015 and 2017, when the invading Turkish state intensified its attacks, played an important role with his courage and composure in these actions.
Our comrade Argeş, who joined the works in a short time by bandaging his wounds in the Medya Defense Zones, became a militant that all his comrades took as an example with his strong-willed stance, joy of life and responsibility for fulfilling his revolutionary duties. Our comrade, who was educated at Mazlum Doğan Party Central School after the treatment process, experienced deep concentration on the truth, philosophy and style of the Leadership, and participated in the practice more faithfully and determinedly. Our comrade, who was involved in his military work again after the training process, worked in the field of Metîna for a while. Our comrade, who later became involved in the YPS work, moved to this area in order to respond to the attacks of the invading Turkish state against the Heftanîn area in 2019 and to transfer his war experiences to his comrades.
Comrade Argeş wanted to enlarge his struggle by protecting the memories of all our martyrs, especially our comrade Bedran Koçer, who led him to adapt to the holy guerrilla life by commanding him for a while. Convinced that this was possible by entering into an active war against the invading Turkish state by going to Bakure Kurdistan again, he headed back to the Botan area in 2021. He became a leading Apoist militant with his unwavering and decisive participation in many actions against the enemy in the field of Botan, as well as in some different works. Comrade Argeş, who stands out with his modesty, took his place among the unforgettable militants of Botan with his labor and efforts to ensure the victory of our freedom revolution.

The invading Turkish army attacked our positions in the Sîda Resistance Area of Zap and the Girê FM Resistance Area of the Martyr Delîl West Zap region on July 15 and 16, and tried to pierce the tunnels and demolish them with buckets.
On 15 and 16 July, Martyr Delîl West Zap area 8 times, Gundê Karawa area of Garê once, Girê Rosto, Girê Berbizina, Girê Kolît and Ava Lolanê areas of Xakurkê 5 times; It was bombed with warplanes 14 times in total.
On July 18, the Girê Cûdî Resistance Area of the Martyr Delîl West Zap region was bombed 4 times by attack helicopters.
On 16 July, Zap’s Sîda Resistance Area, Martyr Delîl West Zap area, Metîna’s Golka and Gundê Şêlazê areas, and Xakurkê’s Girê Martyr Kamuran area were bombed 326 times with howitzers, tanks and heavy weapons.
