NEWS CENTER – Nedim Seven answered the Nuçe Ciwan Agency’s questions about how the youth should participate in their term duties and responsibilities. Drawing attention to the isolation policies against Leader APO, as well as the revolutionary duties and responsibilities of the youth, Seven said, “21. Youth, the leading dynamic force of the 20th century, has historical responsibilities both against the revolutionary struggle and mainly against Leader Apo.”

1. What does the Imrali isolation system mean for the youth of Kurdistan? How should the youth stance be handled in the face of the reality of leadership? Again, what is the leadership’s offensive style and how should it be handled? How should the youth act in this process?
First of all, I salute the historical resistance that Leader Apo has developed in the Imrali torture system for 25 years. With our feelings of respect and longing, the fact that the physical freedom of Leader APO has not been realized, despite the great price given to all the struggles and resistances of our movement, our people and our friends, is the most fundamental issue of self-criticism for us.
Although the works and moves developed in all fronts of our struggle are intensified efforts to make Leader APO’s conditions of health, security and freedom livable, the fact that we have not heard from our comrades who have been held hostage in Leader APO and Imrali for the last 2 and a half years, strains us all in conscience. .
It is necessary to be aware of what kind of a fascist and degenerate enemy we are facing in the brutal isolation of Leader APO in the Imrali genocide system, which is unmatched anywhere in the world. Unless the Imrali genocide system, which Leader Apo initially called proto guantanamu and described as the “IMRALI DEATH CORRIDOR” in his assessment, is not destroyed, neither our movement, nor our people, nor the democrat, revolutionary, patriotic circles and socialists who defend the ideas of Leader APO should stay in their places. Unless they get a one-on-one account from the great international conspirators, they must revolt all their talents and use them 24 hours a day in the cause of freedom. The youth, who created the Imrali system, is the most fundamental leading force to hold the AKP-MHP fascist colonial regime accountable to the fascist Erdogan and his crew, who is the number one dictator of the 21st century, and who is currently serving as a gendarmerie and guard.
Leader APO identified the two most fundamental pioneering forces of the Democratic Ecological Women’s Libertarian Paradigm as women and youth. The youth, the leading dynamic force of the 21st century, has historical responsibilities both against the revolutionary struggle and mainly against Leader APO. When Leader APO and the PKK movement started the struggle, they acted with the motto “We STARTED YOUNG, WE WILL SUCCESS YOUNG”. The 51-year struggle has also been proven that this slogan has created both history and revolutions upon revolution. The guerrilla revolution, the women’s revolution, the Rojava revolution, and the revolutions in the social field are the concrete expression and realization of this. Young start-ups continue to be successful in their 51st year. The last 8 years of practice is the expression of this. Defeating ISIS, the values created in Rojava and Shengal, and the role of pioneer youth in international internationalist successes are decisive. Despite all this, if Leader APO is still being held in the Imrali genocide system, and if there has been no news for the last two and a half years, it is necessary to determine the share of responsibility of the pioneer youth in this.
It seems clear that what is done for the freedom of Leader APO is insufficient. Youth should make more radical and more creative planning, action and organization in this regard. In this regard, it is necessary to take action in line with the decisions taken at the conference by Komalên Ciwan. Based on the line of struggle of the Leader APO and the PKK, it is necessary to undertake the imperative tasks of history in a holistic way, without dealing with it relentlessly and out of breath, by destroying pacifism with a multi-faceted, multi-option, radical and conclusive style, high tempo, resistance and revolutionary culture.
Again, the most defining feature of Önder APO is that he is a mover. Taking this into consideration, the youth should act as soon as possible to destroy the Imrali genocide system, based on Leader APO’s aggressive style.
Just as Leader APO was instrumental in the right ownership of our great martyrs, on the basis of becoming a party, becoming an army and developing a free line of life, our movement, especially the youth, should take this path and undertake the tasks in the most active way, with a flood of enthusiasm, in the most active way. As it is known, the martyrdom of Haki Karer is the Leader APO, who caused our struggle to become a party, Comrades Kemal, Mazlum, Hayri, the Death Fast Resistance Movement on August 15, Comrade Agit’s martyrdom to ARGK, and Comrade Zilan’s martyrdom to the formation of the free life line. Based on this style, young people should demolish all kinds of pacifism and move on to the most radical activism of the period.
Taking strength from the resistance culture of our revolution, they must advance from a small snowball based on ideological, organizational, practical and operational continuity, reach a big and gigantic avalanche, and crush and bury all fascism under an avalanche.
It should not be forgotten that no force can stop the organized youth taking action. These tasks must pass from simple to complex, from rural to urban, from cities to metropolises, and even to the most ultra-megapoles that have suffered the wrath of capitalist modernity all over the world, and the historical move that embraces Leader APO widely. Young people have nothing to lose. Leader APO’s freedom is our basic reason for living.
2. We have the anniversary of the July 14 resistance and the militants of the movement that started this resistance were young friends. One of these militants, Ali Çiçek Friend, was the youngest and is known as KIZIL YILDIZ until today. On this basis, what kind of spirit does the July 14 Resistance represent for the youth and how should we handle this resistance today? Accordingly, what kind of a blow did Martyr Ali Çiçek deal with the enemy with his personality, and what kind of legacy did he leave today’s youth?
We commemorate all our martyrs of the revolution with love, respect and gratitude in the person of comrades M. Hayri Durmuş, Kemal Pir, Akif Yılmaz and Ali Çiçek, who were martyrs of the historical July 14 resistance. We bow before his memories. Their memories are always the leader in our struggle, they will remain as leaders.
The PKK comrades who sacrificed their lives in the struggle for freedom and resistance against the inhuman, immoral, unscrupulous torture of the racist Kemalist regime’s practices, called Diyarbakır Dungeon, made history 41 years ago. The honor resisters, who determined the line of struggle of our history and defeated fascism and colonialism, paved the way for catching a level in humanity and universalization today. Started as “BERXWEDAN JYANE” with Mazlum Doğan on March 21, 1982, and turned into a ring of fire with Mahmut Zengin, Eşref Anyık, Ferhat Kurtay and Necmi Öner on May 17-18, and turned into a ring of fire with the fours shouting “DELIVERY, RESISTANCE TO BEtrayal BRINGS VICTORY” to all Diyarbakir resistance. The great revolutionaries M.Hayri Durmuş, Kemal, Akif Yılmaz and Ali Çiçek, who spread the word in prison and led the resistance on 14 July 1982 on a death fast, were all young friends. Since Comrade Ali Çiçek is the youngest of all these resistance fighters, the struggle went down in our history as a symbol of youth. And as the heroes of our struggle history, they have become legendary today. Leader APO and the PKK are in great resistance to embroider the dreams of these young heroes into the history of a free Kurdistan and democratic confederalism on a global level.
Today, Ali Çiçek has become the name of millions of organized life and resistance fighters not only in Amed, but also in Amed, Botan Zagros, Dersim, Serhat, Behdinan, Soran, Black Sea, Amanos, Kobani, Cizir, Afrin and all over the world. Even beyond the borders of Kurdistan, Turkey, Iraq and Iran, Ali Çiçek has become the name of every group and people in many regions including Europe, America and Central Asia. Patriotic Ali Çiçek, Democracy defender Ali Çiçek, Revolutionary Ali Çiçek, Socialist Ali Çiçek and most importantly warrior-commander Ali Çiçek have taken their place in history. Ali Çiçek academies, where hundreds and thousands of people are trained in a small geography under the leadership of Komalên Ciwan in the tradition of Mahsum Korkmaz Academy of Leader APO, play their role as the basic schools of APOCU culture. Especially in Rojava, Rojhilat, Bakur and Başur foreign geographies, both to make new participation and to direct thousands and hundreds of thousands to the Ali Çiçek resistance line is the most indispensable duty of the youth. In particular, brave and courageous young people who will take part in the war in Kurdistan can make the memory of Ali Çiçek the best way by joining the guerrilla ranks.
Being brave, enthusiastic, determined and focused on the target like Ali Çiçek is one of the primary duties of the youth.
Ali Çiçek, the young hero symbol of the 14th of July Honor Resistance, is Komalên Ciwan’s most basic line of resistance and struggle. If life is to be lived, it must be lived as one with Comrade Ali Çiçek, as an APOCU. The rest is greed.
3. Kurdistan Freedom Guerrillas are mostly young and they are writing great epics in all parts of Kurdistan, especially in Zap, Avaşîn, and Metina. How should this resistance and struggle be evaluated today? On this basis, what is your call to the youth of Kurdistan?
We salute the guerrilla resistance in Zap, Avaşin, Metina, Xakurkê and Heftan, especially in Medya Defense Zones, with love and respect. We commemorate all our martyrs with respect and gratitude, in the person of Asya Türk, Koçer Rojhilat (Seyît) Azad German, the last martyrs of the resistance reflected in the press. We promise that we will be in a constant struggle for the realization of their dreams and goals in the line of sacrifice, and the realization of free Kurdistan and Democratic Socialism is our reason for living.
As it is known, in 2014, the AKP-MHP government, representing the Turkish fascist regime, launched a new concept of attack as the “Collapse Action Plan”. They started the aggravated isolation against Önder APO on April 5, 2015. The relationship and dialogue between 2013-2015 was terminated. On July 24, 2015, in their own words, they carried out 400 airstrikes and started a comprehensive attack and occupation movement against the Medya Defense Areas and the Kurdistan guerrilla. Attacks were made on Cilo, Çarçella, Bradost, Xakurke, Heftanin and Garê one after the other. Afrin, Grêspi and Serêkani were also occupied in Rojava. Intense attacks were carried out against both the guerrilla and the patriots in Shengal, Kirkuk, Maxmur and Sulaymaniyah. AKP-MHP fascism, which did not accept the 7 June 2015 election results in the field of democratic politics, started political operations with the coup election on 1 November 2015. Tens of thousands of elected and legitimate Kurdish representatives and left-wing opponents are thrown into prisons with the rush of arrests until today. In 2018, trustees were appointed to 102 patriotic municipalities that were won by switching to the presidential system and usurped it. In short, it launched the genocide and destruction attacks against the Kurds as a whole, with its policies of cultural decimation. The aim of these attacks, which it carried out for eight years between 2014 and 2023, is to complete the occupation on the Misaki-National borders on July 24, 2023, on the centennial of Lausanne, and enter Lausanne with a new force. All these attacks were foiled at great cost. Today, the Turkish Republic has failed in its plan to occupy the Misaki-National borders. Its economy has collapsed. In the 14th and 28th of May elections, it will not do anything other than polish this defeat. But one fact must be underlined: Mustafa Kemal Kemalist Republic has now hit rock bottom. The second republic with a Turkish-Islamic synthesis, KDP and Hüda-Par (Hizbul-Contra) turned into a monstrous Tayip crew republic with the support of the treacherous Kurds collaborating. Since April 14, 2022, in the media defense areas, HPG-YJA-STAR fighters in Zap, Metina and Avaşinde, with their guerrilla resistance, have foiled the invasion plans of the Republic of Turkey. The fascist gang army of the Republic of Turkey, which wants to destroy the guerrilla by unlimited use of inhumane nuclear and chemical weapons, crashed into the rocks of Zap, Avaşin, Metina and became unable to cross the waters of Avaşin and Zap.
The attacks carried out by the Turkish Armed Forces under various names between April 2022 and July 2023 have only one meaning in terms of war, and that it is a “Pyrrhus” victory. Young people cannot remain indifferent to these situations. What needs to be done is to be the voice of the guerrilla of Zap, Avaşin Metina Xakurkê in every field of struggle in every geography. Being the eyes, ears, words and voice of the historical tunnel resistances and mobile guerrilla teams is the most basic duty of the youth. On this basis, in order to protect the memory of Leyla Amed, Fazıl Botan, Sinan Dijwar, Dilxwaz Gabar, Azad German, Asya Türk, Koçer Rojhilat (Sınê), to raise the arms of the guerrilla comrades who were martyred and to wave the flag of freedom, democracy and socialism from hand to hand, the direction of the entire Kurdistan youth. Giving them to the mountains of freedom is the most urgent task in history. Let’s be the voice, ear and eye of Zap, Avaşin, Metina. Let’s join the ranks of HPG, YJA-STAR by saying “EITHER WITH LEADER APO OR NEVER”.
