“On July 19, 2012, a historic step was taken in Rojava, and the Rojava Revolution, one of the most important developments in human history, was realized. 11 years have passed since this historical development. For 11 years, the Rojava Revolution has defeated the genocidal, colonialist, reactionary and fascist aggression; It continues to be the hope of the people of Kurdistan and all the peoples of Syria, the Middle East and the world for equality, freedom and a democratic life. We celebrate the great Rojava Revolution, which has resisted all kinds of counter-revolutionary aggression for 11 years and has firmly taken root in life, and we salute this historical development. We congratulate this great revolution to the people of Kurdistan, especially to the peoples of Northern and Eastern Syria, to all peoples in Syria, to women, to the peoples of the Middle East and the world. In the person of the martyrs of this great revolution, we commemorate all martyrs of revolution and democracy with great respect and gratitude, and we reiterate our promise to the martyrs. The Rojava Revolution is the common heritage of women, the oppressed peoples of the world, and everyone fighting for equality, freedom and democracy, especially the peoples of Kurdistan and the Middle East. It is a part of humanity’s struggle for equality, freedom and democracy and it is a big step taken on this basis.
The Rojava Revolution took place as a result of the wolf people’s decades-long struggle for freedom. In the realization of this revolution, Leader Apo’s decades of work and effort are dominant. Leader Apo laid the intellectual and organizational foundations of the revolution with his work. The Rojava Revolution developed on the basis of Leader Apo’s ideas, paradigm and his own work. We congratulate the Rojava Revolution to Leader Apo and express our gratitude for providing such a historical development.
International struggle and solidarity have made a great contribution to the development and preservation of the Rojava Revolution. When it comes to the Rojava Revolution, one of the most basic dimensions that should be known is definitely the international struggle. Many revolutionaries from all over the world came to Rojava with international feelings and dozens of them were martyred. On the 11th anniversary of the revolution, we commemorate the martyrs of the international with respect and gratitude. This is a very meaningful and immeasurable struggle and sacrifice. This struggle and sacrifice continues today, young people, women, peoples, freedom, democracy and socialism all over the world are in solidarity with the Rojava Revolution. We congratulate everyone who took part in international solidarity and struggle with the Rojava Revolution, and express our greetings and respect.
Rojava Revolution; It has been realized on the basis of the accumulation of the struggle for equality, freedom, justice and democracy that humanity has given throughout history and by drawing lessons from the revolutions that took place before it. Leader Apo; By reconsidering the historical development of humanity, it revealed the difference between the statist system based on exploitation and slavery and the socialist system based on equality, freedom and democratic life, and created a new paradigm that would enable the development of revolutions on the basis of freedom. Since the previous revolutions were realized by resorting to the tools of the statist system, the desired results could not be achieved and were swallowed up by the statist system. Leader Apo has overcome this historical impasse by developing the intellectual and organizational foundations of the understanding of non-state socialism. What distinguishes the Rojava Revolution and determines its quality is the understanding of non-state socialism developed by Leader Apo. This paradigm developed by Leader Apo means rebuilding life with a democratic and socialist mentality without resorting to power and power tools that lead to exploitation and domination of people over each other. The Rojava Revolution developed based on this understanding and very important steps were taken in this direction. This is a very important development in terms of humanity’s struggle for equality, freedom and democracy. The Rojava Revolution is seen and expressed as a women’s revolution with a very right approach. One of the most important features of the Rojava Revolution is that it is based on a libertarian understanding of women. The development of the Rojava Revolution based on women’s freedom is the strongest dimension of the revolution and the most fundamental feature that makes it different. It also means enormous power. Because the basic element of social life is women. In this respect, a basic reality that should be understood when the Rojava Revolution is mentioned is that the revolution is against the male-dominated mentality and is based on women’s freedom. In fact, women have a decisive role and leadership in the realization of the Rojava Revolution. Because of this feature, the Rojava Revolution attracts the attention of women and everyone in search of freedom in the Middle East and all over the world, and is seen as a hope.
The Rojava Revolution, with its understanding of democratic nation and democratic autonomy, is the most accurate model for solving the problems in Syria and the Middle East. The problems in the Middle East derive their source from the nation-state mentality and system. The Rojava Revolution has proven that these problems caused by the nation-state can be overcome without causing disintegration and division, on the contrary, with a democratic nation mentality and democratic autonomy system that strengthens the understanding of people’s coexistence and common life. The nation-states in the Middle East were developed after the First World War in line with the interests of the capitalist modernity system and by the system forces. In this way, the Middle East was designed in line with the interests of capitalist modernity and imperialist powers, and peoples and historical geographies were fragmented; nationalism, With sectarianism and chauvinism, peoples have been brought into a state of dependency by clashing with each other. One of the people who suffered the most from this was undoubtedly the Kurdish people. Kurdistan was divided among four nation-states, and the Kurdish people were caught in the grip of denial, destruction and genocide. The struggle initiated by Leader Apo essentially aims to get out of this deadlock that the peoples of the Middle East are in and to find solutions to the problems. These ideas and solution approach of Leader Apo came to life with the Rojava Revolution. This development was also the most correct and meaningful attitude towards the Treaty of Lausanne, whose centennial we entered. Because the Treaty of Lausanne, It is the official expression of the process in which the Middle East was designed in line with the interests of capitalist modernity and the imperialist powers, and that put the peoples of the Middle East, especially the Kurdish people, into conflict and genocide. In this respect, the best attitude to oppose the Treaty of Lausanne and to ensure Kurdish national unity is to defend and protect the Roiava Revolution. On this basis, all patriotic forces, acting with historical responsibility, should come together around the Rojava Revolution and ensure their national unity.
The people of Rojava and the revolutionary forces defeated the reactionary fascist ISIS gang and saved the whole world from a great danger. Undoubtedly, it was fought against ISIS fascism at the expense of more than eleven thousand martyrs and this war was won. However, although this reality is known by everyone, states do not act fairly. On the contrary, the invasion attacks of the fascist AKP-MHP government, which feeds ISIS and unleashes ISIS gangs, especially Rojava, on the peoples, causing massacres and genocides, are not taken against the occupation attacks, this aggression is approved and supported. The decisions taken and the agreements made against the Kurds and Rojava at the NATO meeting held in Livania clearly revealed these self-interested and hypocritical policies of the states. These decisions and agreements mean serving policies based on the Kurdish genocide and being a partner in the Kurdish genocide. Such an approach towards the Kurdish people and Rojava, who protected all humanity against ISIS and gave thousands of martyrs for this cause, is absolutely unacceptable. This attitude towards the Kurdish people and Rojava should be abandoned, and the Turkish state and AKP-MHP government should not support and be a partner in the Kurdish genocide policies. The Turkish state and the AKP-MHP government that governs the state; It has an anti-Kurdish mentality and builds all its relations through anti-Kurdish sentiment. However, just because the Turkish state is approaching like this, no power or institution can and should not build their relations with Turkey on the basis of Kurdish hostility. States, especially NATO forces, should correct this wrong attitude,
There is no one in the world who does not know the approach of the Turkish state and AKP-MHP government to the Kurdish people. The Turkish state and the AKP-MHP government that governs the state have an anti-Kurdish character. Because of this mentality, it wants to abolish the Northern and Eastern Syria system and liquidate the Rojava Revolution. This is the aim of the Turkish state’s attacks and orientations based on occupation, annexation and genocide against Syria and Rojava. The fascist AKP-MHP government wants to de-Kurdish Rojava by liquidating the Rojava Revolution. The other justifications he put forward have no reality, they are purely for distortion and to create an environment and legitimacy for attacks. The Turkish state is changing the demographic structure wherever it has taken over, displacing Kurds and settling others. This aim of the Turkish state and AKP-MHP government is known, and this is a policy followed not only in Rojava, but throughout Kurdistan. Our people know this character of the Turkish state and AKP-MHP government. There is no one in the world who does not know this fact. However, some treacherous and sold-out people who call themselves Kurds stand by the state and AKP-MHP and develop relations with them. The Turkish state and AKP-MHP gave these traitors and collaborators the task of legitimizing the invasion and genocide attacks; These traitors who call themselves Kurds are doing this dishonor for money, wealth and profit. This situation is tried to be hidden from the public with various discourses and distortions. For the Rojava Revolution and the whole of Kurdistan, this is the danger that must be seen and fought as the main point. Especially the politicians of the Kurdish people, Intellectuals and patriots should focus on this, take an attitude towards it, and enlighten and raise awareness of the people on this issue. This is a very important patriotic duty.
The plans of the Turkish state and AKP-MHP fascism for the Rojava Revolution and the democratic system of Northern and Eastern Syria are known. Against this invasion, annexation and genocidal attacks, the peoples of Northern and Eastern Syria, together with the revolutionary forces, must resist and stop these attacks. For this, he must give all his concentration to the resistance, make comprehensive war preparations and bring himself to a level that can break all kinds of attacks. The patriotic people of Kurdistan should be in solidarity and active struggle with the people of Rojava everywhere. Young people, women, peoples, all revolutionary, socialist and progressive segments and friends all over the world should be in greater solidarity with Rojava, should react against the relations of states with the AKP-MHP government against the Kurdish people and Rojava, and turn this reaction into action and make the states take a step back. If there is a total resistance and struggle in this way, the attacks against Rojava can be eliminated and the danger can be eliminated. On this basis, we call on everyone to stand up for their historical duties and responsibilities, and on the 11th anniversary of the revolution, we salute and express our respects to everyone whose hearts beat with the Rojava Revolution, especially Rojava and all the peoples of Northern and Eastern Syria.”
