ZURICH – As part of the “Cenga Azadiyê Serbixin” campaign a 1-minute silence was held in memory of the martyrs of the Kurdistan Freedom Struggle before the march held at Helvetiaplatz under the leadership of Tevgera Ciwanên Şoreşger (TCŞ) and Jinên Ciwan ên Têkoşer (TekoJIN).
Statements were made here on behalf of TCŞ and TekoJIN. Reminding the Leader APO’s statement “We started young, we will finish young”, TSC member Hevi Amed continued her speech as follows: “As Kurdish youth, who are united around Leader APO’s ideas and thoughts, our main and primary responsibility will be to break the absolute isolation on our Leader and liberate Rêber APO.
Amed said, “We will continue to be in the fields, especially the Kurdish youth, and as the Kurdish people, until the result is achieved in the “Cenga Azadiyê Serbixin” operation, which we pursue on the basis of eliminating the concerns about the life, health and safety of Leader APO under the torture of isolation in Imrali. We will liberate our Leader, our people and Kurdistan by fulfilling this historical responsibility that falls on us.”
Following the reading of the German press text by TekoJIN member Yara Amin, the people of Kurdistan marched towards the city center with slogans demanding Leader APO’s freedom. Despite the heavy rain in the middle of the march, young people and people from Kurdistan, who continued their march with determination, stopped in the important centers of the city and made statements about the extent of the isolation.
