BEHDINAN – HPG Press Center stated the following regarding the guerrilla who was martyred in Garzan:
The invading Turkish army has carried out extensive and uninterrupted operations in the Hîzan area of Garzan since the beginning of July. In these operations, it bombarded the Hîzan area for days, using thousands of soldiers and contras, the war technique in his hands, warplanes and helicopters from the air, and armored vehicles from the land. It declared a curfew in dozens of villages, panicked and bombarded every living creature he saw in the field with great fear. The uninterrupted attacks of the Turkish army in Garzan for a month once again revealed what the enemy’s fear of the Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla was doing.
A group of our comrades, who resisted the uninterrupted enemy attacks and operations that developed for a month, made contact with the Turkish army several times, but all the attacks were in vain. Our comrade Rêdûr was injured during a contact with the enemy during this process. But he fought with great determination, never giving up, and resisted heroically in his last confrontation with the enemy. Our comrade Rêdûr was martyred on 27 July as a result of the intense bombardments carried out by the cowardly enemy, who could not risk a hand-to-hand confrontation with the guerrilla.
Our comrade Rêdûr’s entire life of struggle and the last 26 days of resistance is one of the greatest sacrifices that history has witnessed. It is a striking example of devotion to supreme values, determination and irreversible revolutionism. Although the Turkish state attacked with thousands of soldiers, dozens of warplanes, helicopters and armored vehicles, the unmatched courage and willpower displayed by these valiant comrades went down in history. Our people will never forget these folk heroes who had a very meaningful and valuable resistance. These self-defeating militants, who have a place in the hearts of the patriotic people of Kurdistan, will always be remembered.
With this feeling and belief, we extend our condolences to the valuable family of our comrade Rêdûr and all our patriotic people of Kurdistan. We promise that we will take firm steps towards victory by taking the self-sacrificing spirit and indomitable will of the Redûrs as an example, and that we will certainly achieve their goals.

Our comrade Rêdûr Sîser opened his eyes to life in the Norşîn district of Bedlîs. He grew up in a village of Norşîn, with the morals and culture of the Garzan people. The personality of our comrade Rêdûr, who grew up in a patriotic environment, has been shaped as a simple, honest and sincere character since childhood. He studied in Turkish public schools for 8 years, but he preferred to be in his village and to live in touch with the nature of Kurdistan. He worked as a shepherd to help his family and worked in different jobs as a laborer. The fact that his uncle and his son joined the ranks of the Kurdistan Freedom Struggle, the Kurdistan Freedom Guerrillas he had been seeing since his childhood, and listening to the heroic epics of these guerrillas helped to form a strong patriotism in the brain and heart of our comrade Rêdûr. Our comrade Rêdûr, a concise and honest son of the Garzan people, He did not remain indifferent to the relentless struggle for existence and freedom of our people. Like every honorable and conscientious Kurdish individual, he saw that he had responsibilities and never pulled back. He did not put his pursuit of individual life ahead of social and historical responsibilities and chose to be the revolutionary of his people’s freedom struggle with a great sense of renunciation. With this awareness and feelings, our comrade Rêdûr joined the guerrilla ranks in Garzan in 2015.
He received his first guerrilla training in Garzan and started practicing quickly. He adapted early on to the impossibilities, difficult conditions and environment that was constantly in conflict with the enemy. Our comrade Rêdûr developed quickly with his simple, honest and concise participation, he understood the language of practice and knew how to answer it. The noble spirit, solid character and consistent personality of our comrade Rêdûr made him a successful revolutionary. He carried out activities in many areas of Garzan, participated in actions, took responsibility in the most difficult moments and made great sacrifices. It both responded to the needs of the practical process, and on the other hand, focused on educating and developing itself on the basis of Apoist ideology. He became a militant who combined theory and practice, knowing that no matter how noble feelings and goals a revolutionary may have, he could not achieve success without basing them on a solid consciousness and strong ideology. Our comrade Rêdûr carried out practical activities in Garzan for three years as an Apoist militant whose essence, word and practice are the same. Knowing that the Turkish army’s intense attacks and operations would fail, he participated and led the actions that dealt heavy blows to the invaders.
Our comrade Rêdûr, who moved to the Medya Defense Zones in 2017, was involved in the training process at the Apollo Academies to embody the Guerrilla of Democratic Modernity, to reach the tactical level of the period, and to capture the style of the victory guerrilla. He specialized in medium automatic weapons by training. His exemplary stance in the military academy, his participation, his dedication to the victory of the Apoist line and his high claim to victory were the distinctive features that set him apart. Comrade Rêdûr, who was involved in different activities of our Central Headquarters Command after his academy training, fulfilled every responsibility he assumed with great seriousness, discipline and consistency. It became a concrete example of successful, solid and result-oriented business. He took part in many works from fortification works to the preparation of battle positions. The effort in these studies
Comrade Rêdûr, who continued his struggle with a heroic manner that left a mark on history, never accepted an ordinary march for himself. He aimed to be the extraordinary and stormy revolutionary of extraordinary times. Our comrade Rêdûr, who has always practiced according to this goal, wanted to go to Bakure Kurdistan in order to realize great achievements, to hold the colonialist genocidal Turkish state accountable for what it did and to raise the struggle. On this basis, he was included in the education process at the Martyr Ibrahim Academy in 2020. He pondered the guerrilla’s tactics of the period and the ways to achieve victory. He turned to the Garzan mountains, where he was born and joined the guerrilla, in order to achieve great success with his concentration and assertiveness in the academy environment. All the obstacles of the enemy, setting up ambushes, He succeeded in taking the responsibility of the group of comrades that he took with him to Garzan in a safe manner by failing to carry out operations. Comrade Rêdûr, who stated that he participated in the freedom struggle not to be a burden, but to lift a burden, truly became a revolutionary who kept his word and shared the burden of his comrades at every moment of his life.
Comrade Rêdûr, who returned to his native land as a qualified Apoist self-defeating militant and commander, immediately adapted to the course of action of the Bakur guerrilla and assumed responsibility. Comrade Rêdûr was a pioneering commander who knew no obstacles, was quite self-confident, took initiative, never got bogged down in the face of problems, and had the ability to create a solution to every problem. Although he always had positive practices and successes, he was never satisfied with what he did, he did not see himself as sufficient. Dervisane always knew how to be altruistic and modest with his work and lifestyle. He won the love and respect of all his comrades with his exemplary stance.
He succeeded in defeating the enemy in all cases where the Turkish army was brutally directed by non-stop attacks and operations. Our comrade Rêdûr nullified the attacks and operations of the enemy, which lasted for a month, in the Hîzan area of Garzan, which was his last post. Although he was wounded in a conflict with the enemy, he managed to protect himself with great will and perseverance. For a month, he bravely endured all the techniques, bombardments and attacks of the enemy. He reached martyrdom by fighting for hours and displaying a self-sacrificing stance while wounded in the last conflict he entered with the enemy on 27 July 2023. Our comrade Rêdûr has written his name in our history of struggle as a self-sacrificing hero who put fear in the hearts of the enemy by transforming the PKK’s sublime resistant spirit into a reality in his person.
