ŞEHBA- Afrin and Shehba Canton Council held a rally to condemn the isolation against Rêber Apo, the ban on meetings, and the threatening letters sent by the Turkish government to Rêber Apo.
Tens of thousands of refugees, consisting of people from Afrin and Shehba, gathered on the road between Til Qirah village in Ehdas district of Shehba canton and Serdem Camp, started an action. The demonstration, which was stopped in the main area of Era Camp, turned into a rally. Afrin and Shehba Canton Council member Xebat Afrin, in his speech on the ground, said, “The invading Turkish state has imposed heavy isolation on Leader Apo for more than 2 and a half years, and has banned him from meeting with his family and lawyers by making senseless impositions and punishments.”
Xebat Afrin continued his speech as follows: “The threatening letter given to Rêber APO is actually the job of the Turkish government, as it cannot detach the people from the Leader. In addition, they could not defeat Leader APO’s free thought, which became a dagger in the chest of the dictatorship.”
The people of Afrin and the residents of Shehba stated that they follow Leader APO’s ideas and philosophy until his physical freedom is achieved and all occupied lands are liberated.
Necah Hisen, a member of the Kongra Star management of the Afrin and Shehba cantons, also took the floor and stated that women will follow the path of Leader APO, who enlightened the path of women’s freedom. Necah also condemned the invading Turkish state’s policies towards Leader APO and said that they would not allow such policies to be implemented against Leader APO.
