August 15th is a historic day. On August 15th, the Kurdistan Liberation Forces (HRK) were announced and in that way everyone understood that “Enough is enough, we don’t live with the occupation anymore!” It was announced to the whole world. With step on August 15, he targeted everything that the occupation had developed. All the things that the occupation had developed, now lost their value.
The step of August 15 is not only a military step. It also has a military side, but that is its last side. It is a step towards freedom and democracy. Since August 15, new things have been developed. In Kurdistan, a new culture, morality, standards, personality, life, society and mentality developed, there were significant changes and transformations in the Kurdish society. Now a new society has developed. Therefore, August 15 is a revolution! August 15 is the beginning of a new revolution in Kurdistan.
The action of August 15, in particular, the revenge of Diyarbakır Prison and in general the revenge of the Kurdish people and humanity was removed. If it were not for the resistance of the Diyarbakır Prison and they did not succeed, the August 15th Step would not have progressed on it and would not have succeeded. She will complete her program on September 12. What prevented September 12 from fully implementing its program and succeeding is this movement. This movement is the movement of freedom and democracy. These movements are against oppression, fascism and the occupying regimes.
On August 15, the prison doors were opened. Torture and execution took place. Banning parties and trade unions took precedence. If they opened again, it was all thanks to the Step of August 15. August 15 became the guarantee of everyone’s life.
When the step of August 15 was announced, no one believed. Neither enemies, nor society, nor friends believed him. It was a surprise, after all, the PKK is a movement of surprises.
August 15 and Egid became one. The work of that friend is essential. Along with that, the work of friends Abdullah Ekinci, Emin Taşdelen, Mustafa Yondem and Mehmed Sevgat are also essential.
