BEHDINAN – Yesterday, 20 Young Women joined the guerrilla march to celebrate August 15th and chose the path of freedom and truth. Our agency interviewed Heval Hezil Harûn and Viyan Peyman who were among these 20 Young Women. The two Friends call on young women and girls in every part of Kurdistan not to accept a comfortable life at home and take revenge on the Martyr Friends by joining the guerrilla movement.
Gerîla Hêzil Harûn: We, as women, do not accept this system anymore and avenge thousands of Martyrs.
Comrade Hêzil Harûn has just joined the Guerrilla ranks and spoke to our agency Nuçe Ciwan and expressed the purpose of his joining in the following way:
“My name is Hezil Harun and I am from the city of Hasakeh. The reason for my participation, as you know, is that the Leader has been in prison for 25 years. The truth has been resisting the leadership for 25 years. For example, how can we reach the level of leadership. For example, there has been no information from the Leader for 2 years. The isolation is becoming more and more severe. As a young woman, these things affected me greatly. Because we cannot know the situation of our leadership; What is the life of that mountain, how is its health? Good or bad?
That is, we have no information from the leadership. It really had a huge impact on me.
In the mountains of freedom, our friends are standing up, actions are being taken every day. Friends become martyrs. These are the things that impressed me the most. I was impressed by the testimony of friends. My second reason for joining the ranks of the PKK, or guerrillas, was the martyrdom of my friend. I was very impressed by his martyrdom and I wanted to avenge him and all the martyrs. Martyr Hezil Rizgar. I was very impressed with it. That’s why I wanted to remove her name. In the person of Martyr Hézil and all Martyrs of Freedom, I will avenge all the martyrs.
Hezil mentions the reason for her participation, stating that the important reason is the violence against women and said:
Torture is very effective on women. Women are oppressed in society. If a person goes deep into the line of women’s freedom. Let’s get to know the woman, right? Where? It is not your only right to get married at a young age at home. Only a woman can live according to herself until that age; He cannot live until his childhood. Every system that exists is implemented. As many women, as young women, we should not accept this current system.
In hers speech, Comrade Hezil made a public appeal to young Kurdish women and youth:
“My call to all young women, especially Kurdish women and all the women of the world, regardless of nationality, wherever they are, do not accept the system, do not accept the current system, the system of the rulers, go to the mountains of freedom.
I am really happy to join. It’s been a short time since I joined the ranks of the guerrillas. However, the truth creates a very strong force in a person. It’s a very nice feeling. People bring their true personality to life. People identify themselves, find their existence in those mountains. The truth is that when a person’s feeling is united with the Leader and those mountains, the person becomes even stronger. In those mountains, a woman knows her truth, how a woman can fight, a woman exerts her strength, a woman has so much willpower.
In the society, women are left without will, women’s will is suppressed. In those mountains, people really find their strength. People grow strong in those mountains. That’s how strong they are in those mountains, that’s how strong people become in those mountains.
My call to all women, come and join the guerrilla ranks. Live in these free mountains, with this love. Join the guerrilla ranks with love. Go to the free mountains with love, fight with love, avenge all Martyrs and for the physical freedom of Leader APO. Let’s all women be one hand, one spirit, one love and according to you let’s expand our goal even more. Our goal is to avenge all the Martyrs, the physical freedom of Leader APO, we will always fight for the patriotic people and the oppressed people. Keep fighting.”
Heval Hezil also spoke about the martyrdom of a young woman, a member of YPJ Heval Vejin Jiyan and said:
“The martyrdom of our late commander Martyr Vejin Jiyan impressed me a lot. The feeling of revenge, my hatred and anger towards my opponent increased and now he was younger. Let the living know this well, if they make a Martyr’s Revival but do not know this, thousands of Revivals will join. He killed a Martyr’s Revival and thousands of Revivals will avenge it.”
Comrade Viyan Peyman: We will release Leader APO on August 15
I became an answer to the enemy’s attacks.
One of the young women who joined the guerrilla ranks on August 15 is friend Viyan Peyman. Friend Viyan spoke to our Nûçe Ciwan agency about the reason for joining and expressed his feelings and thoughts as follows:
“My name is Viyan Peyman. I am from the city of Kobanê. Today, the enemy attacks from all sides and martyrs our friends and wants to pursue his policy and destroy our will. I was the answer for this. Against these things, against these attacks, I joined the ranks of the guerrillas.
Guerrilla life is very different, you are not alone.
“I was excited when I joined. The life of a guerrilla is not like the life of a society. Everything is done with love here. Your friends gather around you, it’s a very nice thing. When people are suffering, when people are having difficulties, when your problem comes up, they immediately look at it. Our friends stop before us. For example, they help you. These things did not exist when I was in the community. I suffered so much, there was no one to help me. But here, the life of the guerilla here is really very different.
After the invasion of Afrin, I couldn’t sit comfortably at home anymore
Efrin, as we all know, has had a huge war. Now Afrin is under control. For example, the women of Afrin, the young women of Afrin are tortured every day, they suffer every day. This made me very angry. I was very upset and I said enough is enough. I should go and sit comfortably at home and my friend, our people in general are suffering in Afrin. I said it’s enough, it’s enough for a comfortable home life.”
By August 15, break the isolation on Leader APO
