BEHDINAN – HPG Press Center made a written statement regarding guerrilla actions and invasion attacks. The HPG statement included the following details:
“Martyr Delîl West Zap region;
- On August 7, at 10:00 and 13:20, the invaders in the Girê Cûdî Resistance Area were hit with heavy weapons and 2 positions were hit.
- On August 7, at 15:30, the invaders in the Girê Cûdî Resistance Area were hit with heavy weapons and 1 position was hit. This action was carried out by our YJA Star forces.
- On August 8, at 10:50, 12:45 and 15:30, the invaders in the Girê Cûdî Resistance Area were hit with heavy weapons and hit 3 times.
- On August 8, at 16:00, the invaders in the Girê Cûdî Resistance Area were hit with medium automatic weapons. This action was carried out by our YJA Star forces.
- On August 8, at 20:30, Girê Cûdî Resistance Area was bombed with attack helicopters. Our forces intercepted 1 Skorsky helicopter and 1 attack helicopter that wanted to land. Both helicopters had to move away from the resistance area.
Zap region;
- On August 7, at 07:00, a bucket trying to destroy the resistance positions in the Sîda Resistance Area was hit with heavy weapons and its work was stopped.
- On August 9, at 06:30, the invaders on the move in the Sîda Resistance Area were hit with heavy weapons.
The attacks carried out by the invading Turkish army;
- On 6 and 7 August, the Girê Spring Resistance Area of the Martyr Delîl West Zap region once, the Sîda Resistance Area of the Zap once, and the Gundê Şêlazê area of the Metîna once; It was bombed with warplanes 3 times in total.
- On 6 and 7 August, the Girê Cûdî Resistance Area of the Martyr Delîl West Zap region was bombed with helicopters.
- Zap, Martyr Delîl Batı Zap and Metîna regions were bombed with artillery.”
