BEHDINAN – The message published by the People’s Defense Center (NPG) Headquarters Command stated:
“First of all, we congratulate all of you on the Resurrection Day and greet you with love and respect.
The invasion attack launched by the invading Turkish state against the Martyr Delîl West Zap Province has entered its second year. In the face of the resistance you developed last year, the invading Turkish army suffered heavy blows, remained inconclusive, and retreated, leaving their own soldiers’ bodies behind and burning them. In the Girê FM Resistance Area, on the other hand, an uninterrupted enemy attack that has passed 14 months and a historical resistance against it are continuing.
The Turkish state, which wanted to bring its invasion plans to a conclusion, therefore launched a new attack on the Martyr Delîl West Zap Province by targeting the Girê Cûdî Resistance Area on the night of July 20, 2023. The resistance displayed in the face of the attacks that have continued for 22 days has revealed an important level and performance.
On August 9 and the following night, it was a very successful result that the enemy force that wanted to advance in the Resistance Zone was hit with 44 coordinated actions in the style of Revolutionary Operation, 31 occupiers were punished and 7 occupiers were injured and excluded from the war. In this Revolutionary Operation, the effective implementation of attack and infiltration tactics on the basis of marching on the enemy with a high Apoist self-sacrificing spirit, the practical application of sabotage tactics with creative tactical intelligence, and the ability to use the weapons in your hands skillfully, and the use of the assassination tactic in a very good place revealed an important level. Using both the details and intricacies of the terrain, as well as the battle positions and tunnels, professionally displaying the expert team’s combat style both underground and above ground, complementing each other, is an important achievement. The fact that we did not suffer any losses in the face of the enemy’s intense bombardment of the Resistance Area from the air and from the ground during this Revolutionary Operation and its continuation in the next day makes the level of success more meaningful. In addition, the fact that this Revolutionary Operation was revealed in the spirit and style of the Egîds on the eve of the Glorious 15 August Breakthrough, and that it took place in the pursuit of the line of martyrs, reveals its historical importance as well as its actuality.
All the fighters, commanders and commanders, who unhesitatingly display the Apoist self-deprecating spirit with devotion to the line of martyrs, march against the enemy with great courage, apply the expert team fighting style and rich guerrilla tactics with great creativity, and teach the invading Turkish army an unforgettable historical lesson, and those who lead, manage and coordinate this resistance. We congratulate you on your success as a commander. At the same time, we respectfully commemorate all our martyrs who have worked with great sacrifice for years in the Martyr Delîl West Zap Province to create the infrastructure for the revelation of today’s level. On this occasion, we greet all our comrades who are still working, resisting and laboring self-sacrificingly, and congratulate them for their success.
