“Our valuable comrades Cemil Cîgerxwîn and Şervan Dirêj fell martyrs in the enemy attack that took place in the Serhed area on August 23, 2020.
From the day they joined the guerrilla ranks, our comrades Cemil and Şervan, who spent every moment struggling to keep the memories of our martyred comrades alive and to realize their dreams, succeeded in becoming exemplary Apoist militants. Our comrades, who struggled with great devotion and determination to practice the new period guerrillaism, never saw themselves as sufficient and were in constant development. With these characteristics, our comrades, who always adopted the principle of going to the areas where the struggle was the most difficult, succeeded in becoming the pioneer militants of our people’s freedom march by crossing into the Serhed area on this basis.
We commemorate our comrades Cemil and Şervan, who made themselves alive with their efforts in our struggle for freedom, on their anniversary with respect and gratitude, and express our condolences to all patriotic people of Kurdistan, especially their valuable families.

Our comrade Cemil Cîgerxwîn, as Şemsettin Delayimilan Party, was born in Rojhilatê Kurdistan in a patriotic family. Our comrade, who grew up in a family committed to social moral values, knew how to live these values in his essence. His inquiries, which started at a young age, against the liberal and powerist understandings imposed on humanity by the existing capitalist system, led our comrade to certain searches. In particular, the genocidal policies implemented by the Iranian state and the fact that the Kurdish people were made needy for bread and worked like slaves helped our comrade to question and search more deeply. Our comrade, who studied at Iranian public schools for five years, left the school voluntarily. Comrade Cemil’s participation in the ranks of our party PKK, from his family and surroundings, has also been instrumental in finding the answer to his search.
Comrade Cemil, who joined the PKK ranks in 2011, received his new fighter training in Xakûrkê. With the basic guerrilla training he received, he gained a certain knowledge and experience in military service and comradeship relations. The fact that he was constantly curious about life and eager to learn enabled our comrade to become a competent guerrilla in a short time. He made suggestions in order to take an active part in the intense war process that developed in 2011 and tried to make himself competent on these principles. Martyr Reşid Serdar, Martyr Çiçek Kurtalan, Martyr Azad Sîser and Martyr Tekoşîn Amanos took part in revolutionary operations during the Revolutionary People’s War that developed in 2012. His participation in these revolutionary operations, his courage and his carefree approach to the enemy were taken as examples by his comrades. Comrade Cemil, who duly fulfilled his duties and responsibilities in all the works and actions he took part in, took a militant stance. Despite being injured in the developing intense war, he has always taken an approach based on enlarging his struggle. It has embraced the PKK’s reality of comradeship with an unshakable faith and devotion within an intense practice of war. He has constantly trained himself to be an undefeated and truthful guerrilla of Rêber Apo. He became an Apoist militant who trained himself and his comrades for the dreams and revenge of his martyred comrades. Our comrade, who became deeply aware of the fact that our party, the PKK, is a party of martyrs, has been in search of a constant questioning on this basis and to be able to answer the reality of martyrs.
Our comrade, who took part in works that require loyalty, ideological clarity and trust after the intense practice and war process he went through, remained in these works for 4 years and did not fail the trust of his comrades in him. Our comrade Cemil, who had the opportunity to better understand our folk reality in this work he took part in, had the opportunity to question the folk reality he came from and the effects this reality had on him in a more profound way.
The Self-Government Resistance that developed in many provinces and districts of Bakurê Kurdistan in 2016 and the martyrdom of both our people and our comrades in these resistances deeply affected our comrade Cemil. Our comrade, who wanted to join this resistance carried out on the line of the Fedaiyya, moved to the area of Şemzînan, which he knew very well. Here he immediately put into practice with the great grudge and anger he had accumulated against the enemy. Our comrade Cemil, who carried out many actions against the enemy, succeeded in relieving the burden of his comrades. Comrade Cemil later received training at Mazlum Doğan Academy, which is our Party Central School, in 2017. With the education he received here, he had the opportunity to analyze the deficiencies experienced in the militant cadre stance one by one. Our party was deeply conscious of participating in the training at the academy opened in the name of Comrade Mazlum Doğan, one of the leading cadres of the PKK. On this basis, he has trained himself to be an exemplary militant and a truth fighter focused on victory. It has deepened itself in Leader Apo’s democratic, ecological and women’s libertarian paradigm. Our comrade, who considers himself responsible for life, has taken firm steps towards becoming a great commander as the successor of Martyr Reşid Serdars and his comrade’s comrade in Party life with his development.
Our comrade, who successfully completed the training period, took his place in security and other activities alongside his friends in the Party administration for a while. In this study, he had the opportunity to see and get to know our Party more closely. Comrade Cemil, who learned instructive lessons from the comrades he was with in this study, successfully fulfilled this task. Our comrade Cemil, who has a certain level and practice, made a suggestion to carry out a struggle in the areas of Bakure Kurdistan in order to reflect these experiences back into practice.
Our comrade, who was organized in the Serhed area after his proposal was accepted, made an intense effort to develop the Revolutionary People’s War. He successfully took part in the practices carried out in the field and fulfilled his duties and responsibilities. Our comrade Cemil has managed to become a loved and respected comrade among his comrades in a short time with his successful practice. He showed a critical and self-critical attitude by intervening in the deficiencies in life on time and on time. He showed his devotion to Leader Apo and the martyrs by working meticulously in every work.

Our comrade Şervan was born in Axçira village of Adilcewaz district of Bedlîs, in a patriotic family that adheres to social moral values. Our comrade, who was brought up with these values, led a simple and modest life. Our comrade, who grew up with a deep patriotic awareness, immediately saw the existing enemy policies and pressures, and was in a resistance and search for this situation. Participation in our party PKK and martyrdom in his family and close circles enabled our comrade Şervan to get to know the Kurdistan Freedom Movement. Our comrade Şervan, being the eldest child of a family of 8 children, supported his family by being aware of his duties. Our comrade, who works in various jobs in Turkish metropolises in order to help his family financially, During his time in metropolitan environments, his contradictions increased and his hatred and anger against the system grew more. It has always not ceased to be questioning and searching against the structure of the capitalist modernity system that oppresses peoples and steals their labor. In this process, our comrade, who came to the conclusion that he could find the answer to his search by joining the Kurdistan freedom guerrilla and that he should be worthy of the martyrdom of his close relatives, decided to join the guerrilla ranks in 2012.
Our comrade, who joined the guerrilla ranks from the Çatak area of Wan in an organized manner with 7 of his comrades, took the name of his uncle’s son Şervan Delîl (Murat Keserci), who was martyred in the conflict with the enemy in the Muş area in 2004, and continued his relentless march on the mountains of freedom with a spiritual meaning. Our comrade, who has come to the fore with his enthusiastic and curious nature from the moment he joined the guerrilla ranks, has actively participated in activities in the field of Botan by completing the basic guerrilla training in the field where he joined the guerrilla. Our comrade, who mainly works in the field of Kato, has a successful practice here. As a freedom fighter, he immediately gained experience in the free mountains where he fought and successfully fulfilled his duties and responsibilities in many actions in the field.
He took trainings on professional guerrillaism at the Martyr Mahir Academies in the Media Defense Areas, and he decisively participated in the process of preparing himself and becoming a competent Apoist militant. Comrade Şervan, who was a competent guerrilla in the Martyr Mahir Academies, trained his comrades like himself during two periods here, and had labor and effort to make them Apoist militants and Democratic Modernity Guerrilla. In this sense, he knew how to successfully fulfill his duties and responsibilities. Our comrade, who has a simple and modest stance in life, considered himself a supporter of our Party and in this sense did not hesitate to fulfill his duties and responsibilities properly. Our comrade Şervan reached military competence during this training process,
After his successful practice in the field, our comrade Şervan made a suggestion to move to Bakurê Kurdistan and bring his struggle to the top in this area. Comrade Şervan, whose wish to fight again in Bakurê Kurdistan, where he joined the guerrilla and experienced the most important firsts in his life, was accepted, was included in the training at the Martyr İbrahim Academy in order to improve himself ideologically. With the training he received at the Martyr İbrahim Academy, he became more aware of his duties and responsibilities as an Apoist militant. Our comrade, who strives to immediately put into practice what he has learned during the education process, has equipped and prepared himself by displaying a critical and self-critical attitude. As an example of unconditional and unrelenting participation, he had an exemplary stance among his comrades. He has a personality that is quiet in life but storms in his heart. Besides his deep feelings for his comrades and his relentless fighting style; He has always expressed his hatred and grudge against the genocidal and occupiers on time and in place.
Our comrade Şervan, who was organized in the Serhed area after the training period he successfully completed, has been in search and effort to successfully fulfill the duties and responsibilities that the Party will assign here. Our comrade Şervan, who is the owner of an Apoist militant personality who sees himself responsible for all areas of life, has managed to have a successful practice based on these principles by not losing the enthusiasm for the revolution that existed from the moment he joined the freedom guerrilla to the moment he marched to martyrdom. Our comrade Şervan, who was martyred in the enemy ambush with our comrade Cemil Cîgerxwîn, will always continue to lead us with his martyrdom as he did with his struggle.”
