“Our comrade Lokman Dilşêr, a member of the Cîlo State Command, and our comrades Munzur, Zana and Brusk fell martyrs in the enemy attack that took place in the Oremar area of Cîlo on August 19, 2021. These valuable comrades, who joined the guerrilla ranks from Rojhilat and Rojavayê Kurdistan with the national consciousness and enlightenment created by our party PKK, turned to Bakurê Kurdistan with great faith and fulfilled their revolutionary duty.
Our comrade Lokman, who has always chosen to be at the forefront and an exemplary militant with his unwavering participation since the day he joined our struggle for freedom with his stormy personality, undertook many tasks from team commander to provincial commander. Our commander, Lokman Dilşêr, who places revolutionary responsibility above everything else and knows how to be there wherever needed, has written his name in our history of struggle as an example of loyalty to the Leadership and the line of martyrs.
The valiant son of our Arab people, our international revolutionary comrade Brusk Ararat, has become an indomitable militant of our Leader’s idea of a Democratic Nation. He became the rarest example of comradeship in the mountains of Kurdistan, where he turned his face by believing that the freedom of all the peoples of the Middle East can only be achieved through the freedom of the Kurdish people.
Our comrades Munzur and Zana also had a participation in the line of self-sacrifice, with their self-sacrifice in the Cîlo area, where they had been for a long time, their insistence on developing the struggle, and their desire to respond to the historical process in which they lived. They showed a heroic march as militants passionate about the freedom, people and country raised by the Rojava Freedom Revolution.
We commemorate our comrades Lokman, Brusk, Munzur and Zana with respect and gratitude on their anniversary, and extend our condolences to all patriotic peoples of Kurdistan, especially their valuable families.

Rêber Apo’s making a historic breakthrough, throwing away the dead soil on our people and raising our people to ensure their freedom wherever they are, started a historical process in Kurdistan. Our struggle for freedom, which has been going on for 50 years, has not only created political and social changes in the people of Kurdistan, but also brought about a revolution in mentality, revealing the reality of a people who resist and fight for the same purpose in all fields. Before the PKK, the Kurdish reality, which was only concerned with the region, the tribe to which it belonged, or the part where it lived, whose horizon did not exceed the area where it lived, and the class to which it belonged, was turned upside down thanks to the tremendous efforts of Rêber Apo and our party PKK. Tens of thousands of Kurdish youth from all over Kurdistan and abroad rushed to the guerrilla ranks with an unwavering national consciousness.
The fact that our party, the PKK, is a modern Kawa movement by throwing aside all the backward and traditional features of our society and becoming influential in all of Kurdistan and the Middle East, has undoubtedly deeply affected our people of Rojhilatê Kurdistan, who are hungry for freedom and ready to make any sacrifice for it. Thanks to the organization created and the national consciousness developed over the years, our people of Rojhilat, who were united around Rêber Apo and our party PKK, became a pioneer in our struggle with the serhildans they developed against the February 15 International Conspiracy and then their most valuable sons flocking to the guerrilla ranks. This revolutionary process that developed in Rojhilatê Kurdistan affected all parts of Rojhilatê Kurdistan and revealed a great potential.
Our comrade Lokman was born in a patriotic family that adheres to national values in the Ravyan village of Kotol, where such a mental and social process is experienced. Comrade Lokman was impressed by the fact that his close circle joined the guerrilla ranks and the guerrilla became more and more influential in the Kotol area. The value attached to him by the first guerrillas he saw, their comradely relations among themselves, and their self-sacrifice struggle for our people left deep traces on our comrade Lokman. Our comrade, who thinks that he should be in the ranks of the struggle as an honorable member of our people, embarked on a search in this direction. Our comrade Lokman, who never accepted an ordinary life for himself, always tried to live a meaningful life. He was convinced that in a process where our people were subjected to all kinds of massacres and genocides, a meaningful life consists of fighting for their freedom as a member of this people. On this basis, our comrade, who gave his face to the free mountains of Kurdistan in 2007, joined the guerrilla ranks and took the first step towards a meaningful life.
Our comrade Lokman, who received his first training in the guerrilla in the Zap field, quickly adapted to the mountain and guerrilla life with the concentration he experienced during this training period. Our comrade Lokman, who made the trainings he received from our esteemed commander Martyr Rustem Cudi and the concentrations he experienced as the basis of all his guerrilla life, has taken on a leadership mission with his enthusiasm, morale and activeness in every moment and field of life, from the very first day of the struggle. Our comrade, who continued this mission throughout his guerrilla life, was never satisfied with what he had. Our comrade Lokman, who thinks that our people should always fight harder for their freedom, has increased his struggle by increasing the pace of participation with each passing day. Our comrade, who has been a guerrilla for three years in the Zap field, gained a great deal of experience here, both in life and in the military. Our comrade, who wanted to put all his concentrations into practice immediately, became a militant that all his comrades took as an example with this feature. Behind his successful practice in the Zap field, he started to engage in guerrilla activities in the rebellious mountains of the Zagros in 2010 as a promising candidate for commander. Continuing his successful practice here, our comrade Lokman undertook a historical mission by participating in the Şemzînan Revolutionary Campaign led by our legendary commanders Martyr Reşid Serdar and Rojîn Gewda. He fought selflessly in the Rindikê action, which took place during the offensive and inflicted the greatest losses on the enemy in its history. Our comrade Lokman, who was injured in the head and foot during the war, healed his wounds in a short time with a superhuman will. Evaluating the long practical work he experienced in 2013, Our comrade, who participated in the training activities at the Haki Karer Academy in order to learn the necessary lessons and make new breakthroughs, tried to complete the military and ideological deficiencies he saw here, and to be an answer to the historical process that our people and our Movement went through. In this sense, he graduated from the academy as a pioneer commander, deepening in guerrilla warfare tactics.
Our comrade Lokman, who wanted to stand by our people against the ISIS gang attacks against our people in Rojava, considered this a national responsibility. Convinced that he should stand up for his duties as a militant who dedicates himself entirely to the people against the attacks that develop almost daily against our people, he moved to the Rojava area. Our comrade Lokman, who took part in almost all revolutionary moves against the gangs in the Rojava area, had an equal participation in the pioneering mission here as well. Our comrade Lokman, who was injured once during the war, did not hinder him, and he recovered in a short time and took his place in the resistance ranks. Specializing in the heavy weapons branch, which has a great function especially in war, our comrade Lokman trained dozens of his comrades and brought them to the level of expert warriors. Honest, Our comrade Lokman, who developed himself more in every move he took with his devoted and brave participation, took command at many levels. Lastly, our comrade Lokman, who served as the regimental commander, became a nightmare for the gangs with dozens of comrades with him. Comrade Lokman and his comrades, who were the pioneer of all fighters in every move they took, played a historical role in the defeat of ISIS gangs. Our comrade Lokman, who witnessed the martyrdom of many of his comrades during the war, made each martyrdom a reason for more struggle. He always worked harder and struggled with the unwavering belief that he could be worthy of the reality of martyrs only by magnifying their struggle and keeping their memories alive. Our comrade Lokman, who re-experienced the emotions of the first time he joined the guerrilla and embraced life with the same enthusiasm and excitement, was aware of the intense war process and the expectations for him as a commander. For this reason, at the Mahsum Korkmaz Academy, where he participated in his enthusiastic life; The organization achieved a big break by clinching it with military leadership. After successfully completing his education, our comrade moved to the Zap field as a member of the provincial command, and practiced here for about 2 years. After his successful practice in Zap, our comrade Lokman, who moved to the Cîlo area, where he had worked before, in 2020, assumed the position of state command here. Our comrade Lokman, who fought against the invading Turkish state with the scarcest means and was the organizer of the successful actions in the Cîlo area, known for its rebellious and challenging geography, succeeded in being the pioneer of our line of struggle. Our comrade Lokman, who thought that the enemy attacks should be answered in the same way, believed that only in this way the attacks could be broken and victory could be achieved.
Comrade Lokman has always valued comradeship in the ranks of the PKK, which he joined with his national consciousness. Our comrade, who has always been sincere and honest with his comrades, made the martyrdom of each of his comrades more of a reason for struggle. For this reason, he fulfilled his comradeship duty, always taking as a basis to lessen the burden of his comrades by participating more. With his bravery in battle, his expertise in tactical matters, and his natural authoritarianism that could impose himself on his comrades, he succeeded in becoming a leading commander in every field he was in. Our comrade Lokman, who made an impression on all his comrades with his lively, moral and natural personality, became a pioneer in life as well as in war with these characteristics.
Throughout his 14-year revolutionary life, our comrade Lokman, who has always fought on the basis of an unwavering loyalty to our Leader and our heroic martyrs, felt and lived them in every moment, left us important tasks that must be accomplished and valuable memories that must be adhered to. In the person of our comrade Lokman, we reiterate once again that we will certainly fulfill the victory promise we made to all our martyrs.

Our comrade Brusk was born in Lebanon as a member of a patriotic family belonging to our Arab people, who were influenced by the ideas of Rêber Apo. Comrade Brusk got to know our Party from an early age, as his family adopted the ideas of our Leadership and lived on the basis of these ideas. Just as the development of the Rojava Freedom Revolution has become a hope for all progressive humanity and an oasis of free life, the family of our comrade Brusk was also impressed by this revolution and returned to Rojava. Influenced by the epic struggle of Rojava’s Arab, Kurdish, Assyrian, Circassian and many other fighters against ISIS gangs, our comrade Brusk joined the Rojava resistance units, especially after the city of Manbij was cleared of gangs in 2016 under the leadership of Martyr Feysel Abu Leyla. Our comrade, who has been practicing here for about 2 years, He took part in many moves developed against gangs. Comrade Brusk, who gained a certain experience in terms of war here, decided to join the guerrilla ranks to deepen the philosophy of Rêber Apo, which gave spirit to the Rojava Freedom Revolution. However, our comrade, who thought that he would concentrate better in mountain conditions, away from the system, turned his face to the mountains of Kurdistan on this basis and joined the guerrilla ranks in 2018.
After joining the guerrilla ranks, our comrade Brusk, who received training at the Martyr Kadir Usta Academy, both adapted to the mountain and guerrilla life and began to recognize and understand Rêber Apo’s ideas better. Our comrade Brusk, who can think in a holistic way and is a consistent militant, immediately began to embody what he understood into his personality. Our comrade Brusk, who managed to reflect his beautiful thoughts on his face, on his style, on every moment of his whole life, was able to win the love and respect of all his comrades with this feature. As an Apoist militant after successfully completing his education, he wanted to take his place in the resistance positions as soon as possible against the enemy attacks that took place as expected. Our comrade Brusk, who wanted to put his military experience into practice against the invasion attacks of the colonial Turkish state, moved to Cîlo area upon his suggestion. Our comrade Brusk, who did not hide his admiration for the fascinating nature of Cîlo, wanted to start practicing as soon as possible. Aware that guerrilla activity in a harsh terrain like Cîlo requires an unwavering will, our comrade Brusk succeeded in demonstrating this will with great assertiveness and determination. Our comrade Brusk, who showed his anger against Turkish colonialism by taking part in many actions developed against the enemy in the Cîlo area, also showed the right method of struggle to all patriotic youth. Our comrade Brusk, who has a great claim to freedom and does not hesitate to make all kinds of sacrifices for it, He is deeply conscious of the fact that this is possible only by defeating the enemy militarily. For this, he took the enrichment as a basis by constantly searching for the new in terms of military tactics. Our comrade, who played an important role in the realization of actions with many different tactics against the enemy in the Cîlo area, managed to lead his comrades in the field with his participation.
Our comrade Brusk, who has always managed to stick to the Leadership and the line of martyrs, and gave this commitment all his life; It became an important example of the brotherhood and common fighting spirit of the Arab and Kurdish peoples. Comrade Brusk will always be remembered in our struggle and will continue to lead us, with the value he placed on comradeship.

Our comrade Munzur was born in a patriotic family in a village in the city of Tirbespiyê in Rojavayê Kurdistan. His family recognized and sympathized with our Party after our Leadership moved to Rojava and Syria. With the development of our freedom struggle in Rojava, the valuable family of our comrade Munzur also participated in the works and contributed to the formation of freedom consciousness in Rojava. Our precious family, who raised their children with this awareness, became actively involved in the revolutionary work with the development of the Rojava Freedom Revolution. In 2011, when the Rojava Freedom Revolution began to develop, our comrade Munzur took part in the local resistance units and participated in the revolutionary work. As a Kurdish youth, our comrade Munzur, who considers himself responsible for the defense of our people and foresees the strengthening of the defense of our people as the top priority, participated with this awareness. Our comrade Munzur, who enabled dozens of young people like him to take part in the resistance, took on a pioneering mission from the very beginning of his revolutionary life. Our comrade Munzur, who acquired a certain military culture in the resistance units he took part in for 2 years, also had the opportunity to get to know the revolutionaries who were influenced by the ideas of Rêber Apo. One of these revolutionaries, our comrade Munzur, who began to understand the reality of Rêber Apo, his meaning and importance for our people, was influenced by the reality of Rêber Apo’s struggle and his ideas, and decided to move to the mountains of Kurdistan, where he could get to know and understand Rêber Apo better.
Our comrade Munzur, who received his first training in the Garê area in the mountains of Kurdistan, where he came from in 2013, participated in this training process with all his being, and tried to understand the reality of Rêber Apo and our party PKK in all its dimensions. Our comrade Munzur, who tried to improve himself in many areas from the smallest detail in life to an ideological approach, from using weapons to war tactics, had an important contribution in this regard. Our comrade Munzur, who has an unwavering, self-confident and devoted participation, prepared to put into practice with great assertiveness and determination. Our comrade Munzur, who gives confidence to his comrades with this stance, moved to the Cîlo region, known for its challenging terrain and magnificent nature, in 2014.
Our comrade Munzur, who took part in many fields and in many different activities in the Cîlo region, became an exemplary militant with his hard work in all the works he took part in. At a time when the Revolutionary People’s War was on the agenda of our people with all its dimensions, our comrade Munzur, who was in the preparation stages of the war as the leading force of our people, carried out these works meticulously down to the smallest detail. Aware of the strategic importance of the work he took part in, our comrade Munzur participated with great seriousness and determination. Our comrade, who almost competed with time with his sacrifice and high tempo, set an example for his comrades with these characteristics. When he sees some approaches that do not coincide with the general preparations of our organization in his field, our comrade Munzur, who, as an Apoist militant, carries out the necessary effort and struggle to overcome these situations, He became an indomitable defender of the party line. Our comrade Munzur, who developed his meaning power more and more every day, became more and more deepened and carried out his struggle more determinedly. Our comrade Munzur did not hesitate even for a moment to educate himself, and made every detail of life a reason and material for education. Concentrating on everything from a conversation with his comrades to the details of his work, he tried to respond to the process by drawing conclusions. Our comrade Munzur, who has been working as a courier for a long time, was successful in this work, which required extreme attention and sensitivity, thanks to his integrated concentration. With this work, our comrade, who has mastered every aspect of the Cîlo region and all the details of the land, succeeded in turning this into an important advantage. Our comrade Munzur, who knows well that he must protect his term as an Apoist militant against the attacks of the enemy against our people and our Movement, is aware that this can only be achieved by constantly taking action against the enemy. For this, our comrade, who constantly followed the enemy, responded to the intense war process by hitting the enemy in the most effective way whenever he had the opportunity.
The enemy’s intensification of the isolation on our Leader, his increasing attacks on our people day by day, and the inhumane practices of the enemy against the cemeteries and funerals of our martyred comrades caused deep anger in our comrade Munzur. For this reason, our comrade Munzur, who is aware of the need to give a historical response to the enemy, wrote a self-deprecating action report in 2018 and suggested a self-sacrifice action. Our comrade, who lives like a bodyguard with his stance and concentration, wanted to peak his struggle by performing a self-defeating action and give the enemy the answer he deserves. Our comrade Munzur, who made his concentrations in this direction continuous, did not compromise on the line of sacrifice until the moment he reached martyrdom.
Our comrade Munzur, who is a pioneer militant and self-sacrificing PKK cadre, in the successful Cîlo practice, which took about 8 years; With his deep love of comradeship, his serious approach to Party duties and his stance focused on success, he became a comrade that all his comrades took as an example and that he owed to follow in his footsteps. As his comrades, we repeat once again the promise that we will follow the line of struggle of all our martyrs in the person of our comrade Munzur.

The historical resistance of the Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla against Turkish colonialism for decades and the reopening of the door to a dignified life for our people has affected our people in Rojhilatê Kurdistan as well as in all other areas of Kurdistan. Our people in Rojhilatê Kurdistan, who have been forced to live under the exploitation of oppressive regimes for hundreds of years, but have never lost hope for freedom, have given hope again with the struggle of our party PKK, and added their most precious sons to the ranks of freedom. Our people, who believe with all their being that the freedom struggle carried out by the PKK in the line of self-sacrifice will bring victory to our people, has always turned its face and heart to the free mountain peaks of Kurdistan and supported our struggle.
Our comrade Zana was born in such a conscious public reality in a village connected to the city of Serdesht in Rojhilatê Kurdistan. Our comrade, who grew up in the natural village life and shaped his personality in this environment, became a beloved child in and around his family with his unsystematic features. Our comrade Zana also experienced the contradictions that every Kurdish child experiences due to the colonization and occupation of our country. The main contradictions he experienced were that he could not receive education in his mother tongue, that he was always marginalized by the system, and that he could not even freely live his culture, which is one of his core values. As he grew older, our comrade Zana, who began to understand the reasons for these contradictions better, began to feel great anger against the enemy. This anger turned into a search over time and he realized that the current colonial situation is not limited to Rojhilatê Kurdistan. Understanding that our people are in the same situation in other parts of our country has caused our comrade Zana to experience deeper concentrations. Again, the freedom struggle against the colonial powers, especially in Bakurê Kurdistan, attracted the attention of our comrade. Especially the actions of the Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla against the invading Turkish state affected our comrade Zana. For this reason, our comrade, who was more curious and started to research our Party; He had the opportunity to get to know the guerrilla life, his spirituality and meaningful companionship. As an honorable Kurdish youth, he wanted to join the guerrilla ranks, to fulfill his duty of freedom to our people and to take his share in the meaningful life of the guerrilla. For this purpose, he joined the guerrilla ranks in 2013, on the anniversary of the 15 August Resurrection Day, which represents a historic day for our people and our Movement.
Our comrade Zana, who participated in the New Warriors training period, which was developed to adapt to guerrilla and mountain life, to learn the basic principles of new life and to create the necessary self-defense awareness against the enemy, participated in the field of Qendil with great enthusiasm and morale from the beginning of the training. Although he had some difficulties from time to time, he managed to overcome them with great will and determination. Our comrade Zana, who moved to the Cîlo field in 2014 after successfully completing his education, worked in this field until he was martyred. It was a turning point for our comrade Zana to carry out guerrilla activities in the Cîlo area, where the invading Turkish state is most directed and where a struggle based entirely on will is waged with its difficult terrain. The capitalist system makes people weak, Our comrade, who always kept in mind the reality that he had made it impossible for him to stand on his own, struggled with superhuman effort and great sacrifice and removed from his personality the features that the system wanted to create in his personality. In the Cîlo area, where the enemy has attacked with all his might since 2015, our comrade Zana, who responded to the enemy with the anger and ambition she had accumulated, took part in many actions in this area. Particularly during his time in the Oremar field, he was always in action and took part in practices that were almost unbeatable to the enemy, and he claimed his term duties. Despite all his successful practice, our comrade Zana always saw himself as incomplete and wanted to enlarge his struggle. Our comrade Zana, who determined the physical freedom of our Leader as the bar for success, did not consider himself successful until he achieved this goal. At the same time, he acted from the fact that this is the greatest goal of his martyrs’ comrades, and he is aware that being worthy of our martyrs is only possible through the physical freedom of our Leader. For this, our comrade, who always bases himself on improving himself and renewing himself in the military sense, trained himself with his own efforts, even though he did not receive any education at the academic level. Although the martyrdom of Comrade Bager – Fatih Özden, one of our valuable commanders with whom he fought and shared the same life, was challenging for our comrade Zana, it made it a reason to fight more. Our comrade Zana, who knows that the revenge of our martyrs can only be taken by shouldering their struggles and participating in the works with a higher tempo, participated in the works with this awareness until the moment he reached martyrdom.
Aware that the success of our freedom struggle is possible with ideological clarification, Comrade Zana has spent a lot of effort and effort to make the Leadership philosophy, to which he devoted his life, vital. In this sense, it duly fulfilled the requirements of Apoist militancy, not compromising the organizational and ideological struggle for a single moment. With the simplicity of his comradeship, the national consciousness he reached, and his humble life, he became an Apoist militant that all his comrades took as an example and wanted to work with.”
