“The indomitable militant of the Apoist ideology and the women’s liberation line, our esteemed commander, Ardem Ararat, reached martyrdom by resisting until her last breath as a result of the intense bombardment carried out by the invading Turkish army on August 1, 2023. Comrade Ardem, who has been a unique example of Apoist militancy by fighting against all kinds of techniques of the invading Turkish army in the last 7 years and especially in the last month, has adequately represented the identity of a free woman with her struggle and stance. Our comrade Ardem, who has shown once again that a woman liberated by PAJK militancy and YJA Star warriorship, cannot be surrendered by a male-dominated mentality under any circumstances, has taken its place in our resistance history as the last successor of the noble tradition of free resistance stretching from Rindexans to Arjin Garzan and Jînda Özgürler.
We express our condolences to all our patriotic people of Kurdistan, especially to the valuable family of our valiant commander, Comrade Ardem Ararat, and we promise to keep the memory of our comrade Ardem alive in our struggle.

Our comrade Ardem opened his eyes to life in a village in Bismil district of Amed. She grew up in an involved, patriotic family and environment. She grew up there because her family immigrated to the Turkish metropolitan areas. But our comrade Ardem always knew how to stay loyal to her country, the land where she was born, and lived with her longing. Our comrade Ardem, a smart and hardworking Kurdish woman, won the teaching department at Artvin University and studied for three years. Our comrade Ardem, a young woman who is Aydın, seeking and researching, read with curiosity and followed the truth. Influenced by the patriotic, democratic youth movement, she became involved in these activities. By taking part in student youth work, she made an effort to ensure that the Turkish state system would not melt away in the wheel of assimilation and genocide. While she was in youth activities, she recognized the truth of PKK and Rêber Apo. She was impressed by the natural and simple life of the PKK, its meaningful comradeship relations, and most importantly, Rêber Apo’s understanding of free life. The attraction of the Apoist movement, its claim to a great free life and its ability to turn this claim into a truth was the answer to the search of our comrade Ardem. She joined the guerrilla ranks in 2014 to follow the answers he found and to fight in the liberating air of the mountains.
Our comrade Ardem, who received her first guerrilla training in Heftanîn, joined the guerrilla life with the joy of ending her longing for the years he spent away from her country. The spiritual life of the comradeship environment, the excitement of being a soldier of the free women’s movement and the trainings she received led to the formation of a strong revolutionary personality in our comrade Ardem. Our comrade, an enlightened and searching woman, deepened in Apoist ideology and philosophy, researched and studied women’s history, learned and assimilated the epic struggle of the free women’s movement, the historical heroes who created this struggle, and the great women’s stances in Kurdish history. She became a militant based on self-development in the ideology of women’s liberation and Jineology, and becoming competent in the line of YJA Star. The woman’s builder in life, making her creative and pioneering position a reality in her personality, she focused on enlarging the women’s freedom struggle with PAJK measures. Along with developing herself ideologically and theoretically, she also aimed to master the military field. On this basis, she was involved in the education process at the Martyr Mehmed Goyi Operations School. She reached the dominance, able to successfully use many weapons in the academy environment, and gained an important level in understanding and applying guerrilla tactics. Sara made a great effort to become a free Kurdish woman and commander who struggled at the heights along the lines of Bêrîtan and Zîlans. Later, she was involved in the training process at the military specialty academy and graduated with a good degree and mastered sabotage tactics. She also aimed to master the military field. On this basis, Martyr Mehmed Goyi was involved in the education process at the Operations School.
When the inhuman fascist ISIS gangs attacked our people in Bashure Kurdistan, our comrade Ardem was one of the Apoist militants who ran to the front line as a shield and fought with great courage. Our comrade, who has worked in the fight against ISIS in the areas of Maxmur and Kirkuk, not only fulfilled her historical responsibility there, but also gained a great experience by testing all she learned in the hot war environment. Successfully fulfilling its historical mission there, it dealt the heaviest blows to ISIS gangs and turned her face to Bakurê Kurdistan with great pride. The greatest goal of our comrade Ardem was to fight and fight against the genocidal and colonialist Turkish state. Because she knew very well that Turkish fascism, which has become the source of fascism, oppression, occupation and attack in the Middle East, is the power that feeds ISIS and all its derivative gangs. She was aware that it was not possible to end gangs in the Middle East without regressing and stopping Turkish fascism. With this awareness and awareness, he moved to the Midfield in order to fight against the fascist regime.
Our comrade Ardem, who was on ers way to Bakurê Kurdistan in 2016, first reached Amed. She experienced the great joy of reaching the land where she was born, the capital of our country, this place where thousands of valiant revolutionaries irrigated their lands with their blood. Our comrade Ardem, who has a strong love for the people and the country, knew well that every step he took was the milestone of an epic and historical freedom march. On this basis, she quickly joined the tough life and war practice of Bakurê Kurdistan and adapted early. Later, she moved to Garzan province and continued her practice there. She struggled for 7 years in Bakure Kurdistan. Our comrade Ardem did not give up in the face of any difficulties, and she was able to overcome every obstacle with her creative intelligence and strong-willed personality. She showed how powerful a woman warrior, armed with the spirit and consciousness of freedom, has. On the one hand, she managed to survive in the harsh war conditions, on the one hand, thwart all enemy attacks, on the one hand, she managed to strike a blow to the invading enemy, on the other hand, she managed to lead her comrades with her free woman stance. The march of our comrade Ardem and his 7-year uninterrupted struggle in Bakure Kurdistan proved how great and fierce the YJA Star militancy is.
Our comrade Ardem represented the majestic stance of Kurdish women in the Garzan mountains from Rindexanlar to Arjin Garzan and Jînda Özgürler. Our comrade Ardem became the owner of a walk without hesitation, with the steel willpower and great determination she created in her personality. She knew how to achieve great success by acting with her female mind, tactical intelligence, creativity, consciousness and free spirit. She took a stance that participated in the process with a high sense of responsibility and responded to the moment and historical processes. With the practice of her breathless years, she both gained vast experience and gained a very important level by becoming a commander. By leading the new era of guerrillaism in Garzan, she tried to overcome the characteristics of classical guerrillaism and to create the style of guerrillaism that was victorious. She has learned lessons from her experience with her high analytical power and in-depth insight. She converted these lessons into reports and shared them with her commands and aimed for all her comrades to benefit. Our comrade Ardem, who always acts with the spirit of collective comradeship, succeeded in representing the sharing side of the free woman stance by overcoming the individualistic life characteristics. She came to the fore with her clear and sharp revolutionism, succeeding in being the comrade of the comrades. She won the love and respect of all her comrades with her strong measures of acceptance and rejection. In Garzan, there was no place where she did not set foot, no piece of land where she did not sweat, and no area where she did not fight. She became a complete revolutionary and pioneer YJA Star commander who became integrated with Garzan lands. Our comrade Ardem, who always acted with the spirit of collective comradeship, succeeded in representing the sharing side of the free woman stance by overcoming the individualistic life characteristics. She succeeded in being the comrade of the comrades and came to the fore with her clear and sharp revolutionism.
Our comrades Ardem and Rêdûr responded with a great self-sacrificing spirit against the attacks and operations carried out by the invading Turkish army in the last month. She thwarted many enemy attacks with great tactical intelligence and ingenuity. She fought selflessly with only individual weapons and few means against the numerous war techniques, war power and great opportunities in the hands of the enemy. The one-month epic struggle of our comrade Ardem in the face of scarce resources and the most disproportionate reality of war witnessed in history was a great heroic stance. The unyielding stance, unbreakable will and irresistible free spirit of the free Kurdish woman have once again become a reality in the person of our comrade Ardem.
Our comrade Ardem was martyred in the enemy’s attack on August 1th, 2023. The truth she represented and the practice she put forth became the current expression of the irresistible tradition of the free Kurdish woman in the Garzan mountains. This noble tradition of resistance of Kurdish women, from Rindexanlar to Arjin Garzan, Jînda Özgür and Ardem Ararats, will always continue. The noble spirit of the Kurdish woman and the great love of freedom will certainly create a free life in Kurdistan and will triumph by spreading all over the world.”
