AFRIN – The attacks of the occupying Turkish army and gangs against our areas continue unabated. Against these attacks in the month of July, our forces carried out effective retaliatory actions. In this context:
- On the 7th of July, two bases of the occupying Turkish army were targeted by our forces in Bab region. As a result of these activities, 2 occupation soldiers were injured and a gang member was killed. On July 10, a raid was carried out against a base of invading gangs in Kibeşin village of Şerawa district. As a result of this action, 6 gang members were killed. In this action, an AK-47 weapon and a thermal were also confiscated. On the same day, a special operation was carried out against a base of the occupying Turkish army in the Ezaz region. As a result of this action, 1 soldier was killed and 2 soldiers were injured.
- On July 29, between Mar and Azaz, a raid was carried out against a base of the invading gangs. In a short time, the control of the base was in the hands of our forces. The enemy tried twice to send reinforcements to the place of action. But as a result of the attack of our forces, the reinforced enemy forces were forced to retreat. As a result of this action, 5 gang members were killed and 4 gang members were injured. In this action, 3 AK-47 guns, 2 AK-47 rifles, 1 BKC gun, 1 B-7 gun and 2 bags were confiscated, and 3 motorcycles were also destroyed.
- On July 31, a raid was carried out against a base of the invading gangs in Birc Heyder village of Şerawa district. As a result of this action, 3 gang members were killed. In this action, 1 AK-47 weapon, rifle and 5 rounds of ammunition, binoculars and a telephone were seized. On the same day, 4 gang members were injured in another action in Şerawa region.
As a result of these actions, 1 soldier and 15 gang members were killed, 4 soldiers and 8 gang members were injured. Those activities were carried out to avenge the martyrs of the month of June.
