NEWS CENTER – The General Assembly of the Women’s United Revolutionary Movement (KBDH) said in a written statement on the occasion of the anniversary of the initiative on August 15:
“We took action as women militias to greet the August 15 Leap Forward, that great selfless exit that opened the doors to the national resurgence. August 15 is a great historical act that opens the doors not only to the resurrection of a nation, but also to women’s freedom and women’s revolution.
With this awareness, as the KBDH militia, we took action against the economic bases of the fascist male-dominated system.
On August 7, our militia took action in Adana. The recycling factory, located in the industrial site in the Sarıhamzalı District of Seyhan district, was completely turned into ashes by the sabotage action of our militia.
As a result of the sabotage action we carried out with a special incendiary technique, the fire in the recycling factory, which caught fire around 6 in the morning, spread to other factories in a short time. Major damage was done to the cosmetics factory and 18 workplaces in the surrounding area.
We salute all freedom fighters in particular for the August 15 Initiative. We will continue to strike until we destroy this enemy of humanity, this capitalist male-dominated system of exploitation and the fascist state!
