We would like to express our gratitude to everyone who contributed intellectually and practically in the realization of this historical breakthrough, and express our greetings and respects.
GUERILLA HAS A HISTORICAL RESPONSIBILITY
The 15 August Operation has a very special significance and meaning for the guerrilla. The 15 August Operation developed as a guerrilla strategy. Guerrilla took a historical responsibility by leading such a historical exit and became the architect of the new life that developed in Kurdistan. Undoubtedly, this pioneering has come with great heroism, sacrifice, dedication and cost. We also congratulate the August 15 Campaign of the guerrilla, who took this historical responsibility by paying a great price and still acts with this responsibility, salutes its historical resistance and express our respect. We commemorate all martyrs of revolution and democracy with great respect and gratitude in the person of the great guerrilla commander Agit Friend, and we bow respectfully before their memories. KURDISH PEOPLE CREATE THEM FROM THEIR Ashes
The August 15 Movement is the product of a deep historical concentration, consciousness and will. It is a revolutionary intervention in history. With this intervention, the course of history has changed and a new historical development has been opened in Kurdistan. This means that the Kurdish people acquire a national and social consciousness, gain a soul and re-exist. While genocidal colonialism was imposing extinction on the Kurdish people, a revolutionary intervention was made in the wicked history, whose history was turned upside down with the 15 August Campaign, and the Kurdish people resurrected themselves from their ashes.
It is very important for the Kurdish people to understand and understand the 15 August Movement, which expresses the struggle against the genocide and their existence. The 15 August Operation has not lost its importance for the people of Kurdistan, on the contrary, it has gained more importance today than in the past to understand, comprehend and deepen this historical process.
15 AUGUST MOVEMENT CHANGED THE DATE
Colonialism and the Kurdish genocide in Kurdistan are different from their historical examples. This difference is based on two dimensions. The first is the anti-Kurdish character of the Turkish state. As it is known, after the First World War, Kurdistan was divided among four nation-states for the sake of the interests of the forces of capitalist modernity in the Middle East. These nation-states, which have established sovereignty in Kurdistan, have subjected the Kurdish people to the process of extinction by severing them from national, social and historical consciousness. The main force that developed and sustained this genocidal colonial mentality was the Turkish state. The Kurdish hostility in the Turkish state is so deep that it sees its existence in the destruction of the Kurdish people and there is nothing it has not done for this. The hundred years of massacre and genocidal history of the Turkish state has proven this fact. Latter, It is the support given by the sovereign states to the policies of the Kurdish genocide. As it is known, the Treaty of Lausanne, which foresees the Kurdish genocide, was signed between the Turkish state and the sovereign states of the period. Despite the fact that the Turkish state’s anti-Kurdish, fascist character was known by the dominant powers of the period, especially England and France, the Treaty of Lausanne was signed with the Turkish state and thus the disintegration of Kurdistan and the genocide of the Kurdish people were approved by these powers. Not only did they give their approval, but also the forces of capitalist modernity also uninterruptedly supported the Kurdish genocide policies of the Turkish state. The Turkish state continued its Kurdish genocide policies with the support it received from foreign powers, especially the USA, European states and NATO. The order established in the Middle East was also developed based on the Kurdish genocide. All this has made it extremely difficult to break the Kurdish genocide. Changing this means changing history. That is why this quality was attributed to the 15 August Move.
The PKK’s emergence on the stage of history has been a very important step in breaking the genocide imposed on the Kurdish people. Leader Apo started this historical process by correctly analyzing the character of the Turkish state and the foundations of the Kurdish genocide, its internal and external bases. The Turkish state, on the other hand, aimed to stop this historical process that had just started with the military fascist coup of September 12, 1980. However, the Kurdish freedom movement took the resistance and struggle from two fronts to a higher level, preventing this process from stopping and succeeding in changing the course of history. The first of these is the struggle that developed in the dungeon and reached its peak with the 14 July resistance. With the historical July 14 resistance, the chains of surrender and betrayal were broken and the enemy’s policy of liquidating the Kurdistan Revolution through dungeons was rendered futile. The second is the August 15th Move. The guerrilla carried out the 15 August Operation and took the 14 July prison resistance to a higher level and changed the history of the Kurdish people by starting the uninterrupted struggle process. All the later developments in Kurdistan were the results of this historical step.

The 15 August Operation has been evaluated in many aspects since its inception, and its results are tried to be understood. When the 15 August Campaign revealed the consciousness of freedom, struggle and Kurdish patriotism, the most collaborative treasonous groups tried to prevent this historical development. Today, the collaborative treasonous factions support and support the concept of liquidation and genocide against the guerrilla and the Kurdish people. In this respect, it is very important to reveal the true face of these collaborative and treacherous groups, who sometimes try to present themselves as a part of the Kurdish and Kurdish struggle, as it was in the past.
DEPENDING ON THE MOVE IS THE ONLY WAY TO PROVIDE FREEDOM
Considering the process we are going through, we consider it necessary to grasp two important features of this historical process accurately and competently. First of all, the August 15th Move is not a finished step, but an ongoing process. The Kurdish people are still under the grip of genocide, and as long as the genocidal attacks exist, the deepening and continuation of the 15 August Campaign is the only way to protect the Kurdish existence and ensure its freedom. Secondly, all developments in Kurdistan are a result of the 15 August operation. It is not only possible to exist in the past, but also to exist today and create development with this. Because the 15 August Operation means struggle for the Kurdish people. As it is frequently emphasized, the 15 August Operation is not just a military action, It expresses the struggle for existence and freedom started by the Kurdish people against the genocidal colonialism. Therefore, it is not possible to create any development in Kurdistan today, as it was yesterday, without struggle. In this respect, it is very important that all comrades, patriots, intellectuals and friends raise awareness of this fact and raise awareness of the society against the attacks of AKP-MHP fascism and the private war center on the right basis.
