Because the Turkish state is well aware that as long as the PKK exists, it will not be able to expand its occupation both over Kurdistan and towards the region. The Turkish state sees the guerrilla areas as an obstacle and attacks these areas in order to realize the National Pact plan and to reach some borders. One of the guerrilla areas where he saw obstacles is Girê Cûdî. He once again launched an attack on this area, from which he had to retreat with great losses. Girê Cûdî area is the border line for reaching Başûr cities. It is a line where the triangle of Metîna, Zap and Garê meet. It has such significance. That’s why they turned to this area.”

The invading Turkish army suffered a great blow from the guerrilla, especially during the landing of troops. In response to a month-long invasion attack, the guerrilla forces are holding daily actions. He attacks the occupying army with new tactics, assassination attacks and coordinated professional actions. It inflicts great losses on the occupying army. Especially the assassination actions of YJA Star guerrillas stand out in this area. YJA Star guerrillas do not allow a single soldier to leave their position and move forward.
