BEHDINAN – HPG Press Center said, “Our forces in the Girê Cûdî Resistance Area are carrying out effective actions under the leadership of YJA Star, both inflicting heavy blows on the invading Turkish army and preventing it from settling in the Resistance Area. The Turkish army, which suffers losses every day in Girê Cûdî, does not hide these losses and disclose them to the public. Our forces in the Girê Cûdî Resistance Area carried out 17 separate actions in the last 48 hours; We punished 12 invaders and destroyed 1 tent. We also struck 1 bulldozer and 5 positions. These actions were carried out to avenge our martyred YJA Star militants Robin Avent and Yıldız Şahin Botan comrades who fell martyrs in the Girê Cûdî Resistance Area.”
HPG shared the following details regarding the actions of the guerrilla forces and the attacks of the Turkish army:
Martyr Delîl West Zap region;
- On July 31, at 04:40, the invaders in the Girê Cûdî Resistance Area were hit and beaten.
- On July 31, at 08:30, 1 invader who tried to enter the position in Girê Cûdî Resistance Area was shot and punished with the assassination tactic.
- On July 31, at 09:00, the invaders who tried to make a position in the Girê Cûdî Resistance Area were targeted with the assassination tactic and 1 invader was punished. This action was carried out by our YJA Star forces.
- On July 31, at 14:30, the invaders in the Girê Cûdî Resistance Area were shot and beaten when they moved.
- On July 31, at 15:40, 1 position belonging to the invaders in the Girê Cûdî Resistance Area was hit with heavy weapons. This action was carried out by our YJA Star forces.
- On July 31, at 16:00, when the invaders in the Girê Cûdî Resistance Area started to move, they were hit with medium automatic weapons.
- On July 31, at 16:50, 1 position belonging to the invaders in the Girê Cûdî Resistance Area was hit with heavy weapons. This action was carried out by our YJA Star forces.
- On July 31, at 17:00, the invaders who tried to reach the top of a hill in the Girê Cûdî Resistance Area were targeted and shot with sabotage tactics and 3 invaders were punished.
- When the invaders in the Girê Cûdî Resistance Area took action on July 31 at 18:00, they were targeted with the assassination tactic, and 1 invader was punished. This action was carried out by our YJA Star forces.
- At 06:50 on August 1, 1 enemy sniper, who was keeping watch with a telescope in the Girê Cûdî Resistance Area, was shot and punished with the assassination tactic.
- On August 1, at 08:15, when the invaders in the Girê Cûdî Resistance Area took action, it was targeted with heavy weapons and 1 position was hit. This action was carried out by our YJA Star forces.
- When the invaders in the Girê Cûdî Resistance Area took action on August 1 at 09:30, the medium was targeted with automatic weapons and 1 invader was punished. This action was carried out by our YJA Star forces.
- At 11:00 and 11:40 on August 1, the invaders, who took action in the Girê Cûdî Resistance Area, were targeted with heavy weapons and hit 2 positions.
- On August 1, at 14:25, the tent belonging to the invaders in the Girê Cûdî Resistance Area was targeted and hit with heavy weapons. While 1 tent was destroyed, 2 invaders inside the tent were also punished.
- On August 1, at 21:30, the invaders in Girê Cûdî Resistance Area were targeted with heavy weapons and 2 invaders were punished.
Zap region;
- On August 1, at 08:00, a penetrating bucket trying to destroy the resistance positions was targeted and hit with heavy weapons in the Sîda Resistance Area. The drilling shovel was stopped by impact.
The attacks carried out by the invading Turkish army;
- On 30 July, the Girê Martyr Heqi area of Xakurkê once, the Geliyê Avaşîn area of the Avaşîn region once, the Girê Spring Resistance Area of the Martyr Delîl West Zap region twice, the Girê Cûdî Resistance Area twice, and the Gundê Dergelê of Metîna once.
