BEHDINAN – At noon on August 9, guerrillas in the Girê Cûdî area of the Western Zap region carried out a revolutionary operation in Egîdce against the invasion attempt of the Turkish army. As we approach the 39th anniversary of the 15 August resurrection campaign that saved the people of Kurdistan from the brink of extinction, the details of this revolutionary operation say a lot about the situation of both the guerrilla front and the war criminal Turkish army.
At the time of the revolutionary operation, the invading Turkish state was holding the MGK meeting. When dirty planning and calculations were made and they were touting war until their voices were muffled, the Mehmetçiks, whom they did not fit into the sky in words but burned with gasoline in practice, were punished one by one in the revolutionary operation of the guerrilla. While repeating their historical lines such as “we will continue the struggle”, “we will finish it until now”, “what if we don’t finish it”, “we’ve come to the end now”, the guerrilla was giving the message, “it’s not over until we say it’s over, we’re just getting started”, not in words but in action. In this sense, this counter-operation is also very meaningful in terms of timing.
THE QUALITY OF THE TURKISH OPERATIONAL POWER AND THE STATUS IN GIRÊ CÛDI
The Turkish army, which sent its soldiers back to Girê Cûdî by saying “Ya Allah”, was planning to carry out an operation. To be in the position of carrying out the operation, to be in constant attack, to dominate the terrain and to provide a shooting advantage. If you’re an operational force, you first put your enemy in a defensive position, and then you liquidate him. If this is the nature of the operational force, in fact, the guerrilla did not date on August 9, but on July 20; that is, we can state that it has been the main operational force since the first day of the operation. Because the Girê Cûdî guerrilla force has followed a very foresighted, wise and coordinated tactic since July 20.
The action that took place on 9 August is undoubtedly the result of a process, not a random operation. The guerrilla always kept its superiority in shooting with daily coups, assassinations, heavy weapons and sabotage actions. Soldiers who wanted to spread across the land have been the target of YJA Star assassins dozens of times. Therefore, the soldiers who landed in the area wanted to make hasty positions and protect themselves. In other words, they took a defensive position in the area they came from, saying “we will operate”.
Putting the enemy in a defensive position, the guerrilla attacked these positions with a falconry style on August 9 and struck a devastating blow that would shock it’s enemy. 31 soldiers were punished and 7 invaders were injured in these actions, in which many tactics were used intertwined on August 9 and 10. The ‘suicide drones’ of the Turkish army, which came to the aid of the soldiers who could not raise their heads during the action, were also destroyed by the guerrillas. The guerrillas, who followed the Turkish soldiers who tried to escape during the action, punished many soldiers there as well. They interfered with the Skorskys trying to reinforce the area, they all had to turn back one by one.
So as a result, Turkish soldiers were surrounded in Girê Cûdî. This is what the guerrillas who are resisting there now say: There is an entrance, there is no exit from Girê Cûdî!
This revolutionary operation was the biggest blow to the Turkish army in Gîrê Cûdî in the last 20 days. For the first time in the evening of 9 August, they shared the identity information of the punished soldiers, although not with the correct numbers. Soldier losses, which were given as 2 in the first statement, became 5 in the morning. This shows that the losses of the Turkish army were very high. As a guerrilla who has been fighting the Turkish army for years said, “If the casualties are 5 they don’t give at all, if they are 10 they give 2, if they are more than 20 they give a fixed 5.” The Turkish army is indeed approaching its so-called holiest values with these fixed numbers that mock people’s minds.
THE GUERILLA SHOOLED A FEW BULLETS AND IT HAPPENED TO THEIR SOLDIERS!
The Turkish army also has a certain policy against guerrilla actions and these effective revolutionary operations. We can call this a “pretend it didn’t happen, hollow it out if you can’t” policy. In other words, they describe these highly planned, multi-disciplinary, coordinated and well-calculated guerrilla actions as “harassment fire” and deny their content. Here they make it look as if the guerrilla fired a few bullets at random and hit their soldiers. In other words, they do their best to simplify these actions, which are carried out with a very high military operation, to make them seem very random and ordinary. Just as they said about Egîd and his comrades during the 15 August Resurrection Campaign, “It is the work of a few bandits”, today they try to belittle the fighting ability of the professional guerrilla with such words. Besides, it’s useless for them to call this action “harassment fire”. They ask you, if 5 of your soldiers die in the fire of harassment, how many will you lose in a serious action? In this sense, the Turkish army, along with its own lie, has gone down in the history of war as the army that lost the most in “harassment fire”!
COMMANDER EGID’S WARRIERS RULE THE ENEMY
If the commanders of the Turkish army were brave people with the morality of war, they would have put their hat in front of them and withdraw from Girê Cûdî by now. They prefer to leave their soldiers there to die, even if it’s a disgrace, just because they can’t make themselves accept a second retreat.
The guerrilla is determined to win. The most benevolent children of our country are showing the most honorable resistance of the age against their plane, tank, chemical, bomb, soldier, guard, KDP, betrayer, and all evil. He is fighting on the basis of his own power and will, without anyone’s servant, without saying goodbye, without clawing. May the soul of Commander Egîd rest in peace; Its warriors are rooting out the enemy!
