BASQUE COUNTRY – In the Basque region of Spain, a Jineolojîcamp was held between July 24 and 30, called ‘Sehid Raperin Amed’. The camp was held in the left-wing and anarchist neighborhoods of ‘Errekaleor’ and 30 women from Catalonia, Valencia, Murcia, the Basque Country, Germany and Italy participated.
At the camp, discussions were held on the ideology of women’s liberation, free coexistence and women’s science, Jineolojî. In the camp, a movie was shown about the life and struggle of Raperîn Amed and the martyrs of the Kurdistan revolution. Along with watching the film about the PKK, there was also a discussion about the culture of women’s struggle.
In the camp, Nagihan Akarsel was also remembered, who was killed by MIT in Silêmaniye.
