ŞEHBA – The march started at Hade Musa square at 7 pm yesterday and continued until Serdem camp. The march turned into a rally in the Era camp. Speaking on behalf of the Young Women’s Union, Zêneb Xilo stated that on August 15, 1984, under the leadership of Commander Egîd, the first bullet was fired into the brain of the enemy, thus awakening the Kurdish people and bringing them to light from the darkness.
After Xilo, “Kurdistan freedom guerrillas have been conducting an unprecedented resistance in Zap, Avaşin and Metina since 15 August.” said. In the continuation of her speech, Xilo urged young men and women to raise their struggles and join the freedom march. After the speech ended, Shehba’s youth and young women danced halay in the form of slogans and ended their protests.
