NEWS CENTER – The Rojhilat Defense Units (YRK) Press Contact Center announced in a written statement that 2 YRK guerrillas were martyred in the Turkish state’s SİHA attack in the Pencewîn district of Silêmanî on July 28.
Reminding that the fascist Turkish state attacked the leaders and patriots of the people in the comprehensive war of destruction launched against the Kurdish people, YRK stated that in these attacks, they murdered both the revolutionaries and the people of Kurdistan. YRK informed that 2 of their friends were martyred and 2 of them were injured in the attack on their friends who were moving in a vehicle in the Chuwarta borders of Silêmanî’s Pencewîn district on 28 July.

Expressing that both of his martyred friends joined the guerrilla with great determination and self-sacrifice, and that they showed their youthful attitude by participating in the freedom war with an Apoist spirit, YRK gave the following information about the martyrs:
MARTYR ŞİLAN BRINGS COLOR TO THE GUERILLA’S LIFE WITH HIS enthusiasm AND MORALE
“Martyr Şîlan Zagros grew up in a patriotic atmosphere and family in Bane. She joined the Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla by displaying a revolutionary attitude as a Kurdish young woman during the period when the ‘jin jiyan azadi’ revolution was echoing in Kurdistan. She took an active part in life and revolutionary work as a sympathetic, hardworking personality at a young age. She gave color to guerrilla life with her youthful enthusiasm and morale. Like all his comrades, his aim was to make true companions with Rêber Apo and the martyrs. For this reason, she always wanted to revolutionize on the basis of Rêber Apo’s ideas and philosophy, the reality of the Leadership, and take revenge on the enemy. On this basis she was disciplining her current energy and concentration and fortifying herself in the face of the hostile reality. Developing himself on the basis of Rêber Apo’s ‘xwebûn’ paradigm.
MARTYRS ZAGROS JOIN THE GUERILLA WHILE DOING MILITARY IN IRAN
Martyr Zagros Zirêbar grew up in a patriotic family and environment. He got to know PJAK when he was still young, and he grew up in parallel with the development of the Rojhilatê Kurdistan revolution. He was serving in Iran at the beginning of the ‘Jin jiyan azadi’ revolution. In this period, he joined the guerrilla by displaying a patriotic attitude in the face of the system’s pressures on our people. From the day he joined until the day he was martyred, he participated in the life and struggle for freedom with self-sacrifice and endless devotion. He fulfilled all his responsibilities completely and acted as a follower of the martyrs. His aim was to reach Rêber Apo’s militancy standards in every aspect as a modern guerrilla. He was educating himself ideologically and militarily on the basis of Rêber Apo’s ideas and philosophy.”
Commemorating the martyrs once again with respect, YRK expressed its condolences to the Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla and the Kurdish people, especially to the families of Martyr Zagros Zirêbar and Şîlan Zagros. YRK said, “We promise; We will always raise the flag of struggle of our martyrs in Kurdistan, we will take their revenge by building a free and democratic Kurdistan.”
